Chapter One: Forever Blue

CHAPTER ONE: FOREVER BLUE

"Rae!" I hear my roommate/best friend shout irritably. As I hear foot steps approach my door I grumble loudly.

"Rae, get your fat ass up!" She yells as she barges in, "What did I tell you about barging in, Julia?" I groan. "Knock, knock brat, time to get up!" She laughs sarcastically.

I laugh as I throw a pillow square in the face. "And it's time for your butt to leave," I grumble again. She laughs as she pats my head like a dog, "I love you too sweetie," she says leaving.

I smile at her humor, "What a little ass," I giggle, "I can hear you y'know!" She shouts across the hallway.

I roll my eyes as I get up from my bed, making my way to the bathroom.

I turn the knob to the warmest temperature, I undress from my boy shorts and oversized t-shirt. I look in the mirror, then the feeling of being watched washes over me.

I shrug it off as nothing and hop into the shower.

-10 minutes later-

I finish slipping on some skinny jeans and a leather jacket. "Are you finally done," she emphasizes, I roll my eyes, "Yes I'm done," I reply, as I open the bathroom door.

"My dear best friend-" "What do you want Jul?" I cut her off knowingly, "Can you please go pick up some tampons for me?" she asks with hope gleaming in her hazel eyes.

"Ugh, fine," "Thank you Rae!" she gushes. I walk to the front door and jam my black vans onto my feet, "Wait, the keys!" She says as she tosses me the keys.

"Okay see you later, bloody rag!" I shout exiting the one-story house.

Since we couldn't afford a vehicle, we basically take any taxis or we just walk to our destinations, but today I felt like walking to the store.

Suddenly after a few minutes of walking, I got the same feeling of being watched... I was only a few blocks off of where the house was.

I kept walking, just a little faster. Then the feeling of being stalked got stronger, my walking came to a halt. I looked around for a little while. The coast was clear to the left, but the right was a dark alleyway.

But from what I can see, nothing was there. I shake the feeling off as paranoia and continued my adventure to the store.

-12 minutes later-

I hastily head towards the feminine hygiene aisle. Oh Jesus, I forgot what brand of tampons she buys! I quickly take out my phone and sent her a text.

-Rae: R, Julia: J-

R: Hey what brand of tampons do u buy?
J: The playtex sport one
R: There is a crap ton of them, be more specific!
J: Jesus Christ, buy the purple one!
R: Thank u blood bag!
J: I h8 u
R: U know u love me, bye!

I giggle as I put away my phone and grab the purple box of tampons. I make my way to the cash register to buy my items until two stunning blue eyes caught my basic, boring green ones.

'Wow not only his eyes are beautiful, his face is also beautiful' I thought, the man turns around to face me, he is feets away from me but he still manages to see me.

He smirks as he exits the store. He smiled at me as if he could read my mind.

Wow are you stupid Rae? He is a human, what human can read minds? Yeah, no one.

I buy the tampons and leave the store, but for some odd reason I can't forget that mans face, especially those blue eyes... It's like he placed them there, forever.
