CHAPTER SIX: COLD HANDS

I have no idea why Julia is being so prissy and rude. She's been like this since last night, making me not talk to her.

Once I made it to the door, I notice Andy sitting on the steps, playing on his phone. "Oh, hey Andy!" I smile, getting him to turn around.

He smiles, getting up, "Hey beautiful, can I come in?" He asks, pecking my cheek. "Um..." I hum, nervous about Julia's attitude.

As I thought about this, she suddenly emerges from the hallway. We both make eye-contact, but only for her to roll her hazel ones.

"How about we go to yours?" I sigh, figuring out that she is clearly not in the mood for guests.

"Sure, that sounds good," he agrees, thankfully not asking questions. "Cool! Just a second while I go get dressed. Do you mind staying out there or on the couch..?" I ask, uncertain if he's uncomfortable with my tempered roommate.

"I'll stay out here," he replies, peering behind me. I nod, smiling, "Okay, I'll be out in a second."

"Ready?" He asks, flashing me that charming smile, making my knees weak. "Yup!" I say, surprisingly cheerful.

I close and lock the door, not bothering to say 'bye' to Julia, seeing as she is being highly disgruntled this morning.

We left the premises of the house, seeing Andy's expensive car parked right out front of my dingy house.

"Nice car, Biersack," I nodded approvingly. "Glad you approve of it," he replied, opening the passenger door for me.

"Could you get any better?" I murmur to myself, feeling lucky that I got ahold of a guy like him.

I see him smirk cockily from the corner of my eye. "So we're going to your place," I buckle my seatbelt, waiting but for a response.

"Yeah. Is that okay with you?" He asks kindly, pulling out of the front of my house.

"Perfectly fine," I smile, breathing in the smell of fresh leather. "Then let's get a move on," he says, pulling out from between two rusty cars.

"Wow..." I exhale, taking in the beauty that was set out in front of me. "Hmm?" Andy hums, pulling out a key from the car. "Oh, uh, your house is absolutely stunning, Andy," I compliment. "Thanks, I know it's not a lot," he slams the car door. I laugh; not a lot? This house if bigger than my house times ten.

"Shall we?" He asks, leaving his hand out for ups. "We shall," I respond, taking his hand into mine.

Whoa, his hands are really cold.
