How it all started.

Chapter 7

It's been a week and Taehyung, well he hasn't contacted or met up with me for a week. I didn't think of visiting him because I felt like he wouldn't want me to.

I did one time look through their window to watch Y/n, I know creepy. But when she caught me she informed me that Taehyung hasn't exited his room since the last time we saw him, a week ago. She said he might going be going through depression..
... again.

I started to get worry. Even thought Tae was my best friend, I never knew he went through depression. Maybe there's a lot I don't know about him.

I need to see Tae.

Next day.
I'm taking a shower right now because once I'm done, I am going to visit Tae and check on him.

I exit the shower, cream myself and dress myself in a white top and blue jeans.

I grab a bagel and open the front door. I was surprised to see that Tae was standing right there. He looked messy. Sad. Desperate.

'Tae-'. I didn't get to finish my sentence because Tae had cling onto me. He gave me a deep hug that caused  me to stumble backwards. I could feel something wet ,that I assumed were tears, dropping onto my shirt.

He was crying.

'Jimin' Tae said in a sad, soft tone. 'I need you'

Tae and I were sat on my bed. Tae was acting different. Like he was trying to act happy as if he didn't just cry on my shoulder.
I didn't want to question him because I didn't want him to disappear again.

'Hey Jimin' he says with a fake smile. 'How is it going with your crush'.

Oh yeah. Y/n.

'Good', I say, 'really good actually, I've got closer to her actually, and I can talk to her comfortably now which is fun'

Tae gave me a bright smile, this time it was genuine, 'that's so good for you! You know what, since you've got closer to her, I'm going to set you homework'

'Is that's supposed to be a prize?' I question. I thought he would treat me, not give me homework.

'No Jimin, it's going to help you.' Tae said.

Tae had set me homework to ask my crush on a date. Meaning I had to ask Y/n on a date.

'And on that date, you need to ask for her number, pay for dinner, and kiss her cheek'. Tae said.

'NO! I can't do that, won't I be rushing everything?', I asked.

'I never gave you a specific date to do this homework, you have to do it within this week, meaning you have time to get closer to her'

I felt nervous, This is really going to happen, what if she rejects me.

'Tae, What if she rejects me?'
'Pfft. Who would reject your fine as*'

I chuckled. Tae never fails to boost my confidence, without him I wouldn't know how to act with girls I like. I'm so happy I have him back.

For the past 2 days I would visit Y/n without Tae knowing.
We would talk about our parents, fav sweets, and life.
Me and her also had a discussion on why potatoes are probably the best vegetable or carb to exist as it's included in many dishes. It could m be many things and I was always fascinated by that. I was shocked to know Y/n was too. She gets me and she doesn't think I'm weird for thinking the way I think.

Today I was going to ask Y/n on his date. I snuck through her window.

'Jimin!' She screamed.

'Shhhhhh, Tae will hear' I said whilst covering her mouth with my hand.
She licked my hand and started chuckling.

'Yah!' I shouted whilst whispering. 'Your nasty' I said whilst pushing her to sit on her bed. I then sat beside her. We both laughed.

'Jimin?' She asked in a serious tone.

'Mhm' I said even though my heat was racing.

'Why do we need to hide from Tae? It's not like anything's going on'

I felt a little sting on my chest, but she was right.
'Because..' I said. I stopped because of the realisation I wasn't staring at her whilst talking. I knew that's something Tae said I should do to attract my crush. So I continued whilst looking into her eyes. 'Because, when Tae knows I'm talking to you, he always tries to interrupt us'

'True' Y/n said whilst chuckling.

'Y/n, it's my turn to ask you a question'. I said confidently but inside I was the opposite.

'Go on'. She said.

'Will you... uh.. will.. uh' I was turning into shy Jimin again. I didn't want to stutter around her, I wanted to act confident.

'Will I..?' Y/n questioned.

'Willyougoonadatewithme?' I said really fast with no deep breaths.

'Yes, what time?' She said. I was suprised she even picked up what I said.

'Tomorrow, 7pm? Is that good?'

'Yes' she said.

I didn't want to leave straight away, so we ended up reading together. We read it ends with us. Pretty good book.

I was back in my room. I reflected on how much progress I had made because of Tae, I tucked into my bed, getting excited for what tomorrow will bring.

Next thing I knew I heard someone knocking rapidly on my window. I knew it was raining outside so I didn't want to keep whoever it was out in the rain.
I opened my blinds and opened my window, to see a wet haired, soaked Taehyung.

He climbed into my room whilst closing my window.

'Hey' he said.

'Tae! What are you doing in my room at almost midnight' I questioned.

'Like I said before, I need you, I need to talk to you, let it all out' he said whilst getting a towel from my wadrope. Then he dried his hair with it.

'So talk to me then' I said with a open mind.

'Ok, but Jimin, can I sleep with you tonight, I'll tell you everything'

'Sure'
