8. Love

" Princess" cooed Ace to the crying angel in his lap. The sobbing sound was increasing minute by minute. The more he tried to calm her, the more she cried.

"ple-ase l-et h-im g-o" Ariel sobbed, she couldn't bear seeing her only family, her best friend, her Enzo in pain.

Before she realized, she fell onto the ground feeling a stinging pain in her left cheek. 'Did he just...' Tears streamed from her eyes. She glanced at the furious brothers.

"How dare you talk about another man while sitting beside us" Grabbing Ariel's jaw, Xavier spatted. She was beyond scared. She felt pathetic. She hated it but she knew she was weak.

' Why am I so weak? Only I was strong I could have protected Enzo. He loved me care for me, protected me, but I couldn't do anything for him. He is now hurt because of me. He hates me for sure.'

Before Ariel realised, she was pulled onto someone's lap. She raised her head only to meet the dark orbs of the Xavier. She was now a crying mess.

"Ahh it's alright" Xavier whispered. She clutched his arms and cried. She loathed it but she sought comfort in his embrace. She hugged him tightly. He let out a soft chuckle. Whereas the other two brothers were glaring at Xavier.

"She's already picking favourites" Alexander growled as Ariel just clutched his arms being scared of the other two.

"Come on! It's not like that. Arie loves us equally, don't you Princess?" Xavier interrogated expecting a positive response. Yet all she did was clutch him more tightly. Xavier was beyond angry. He pulled out the hug and made her face the brothers.

"Say it" Xavier sternly groaned. "Say you love us all equally" he continued. Her mind was still processing. Glimpsing Xavier's angry face made her tremble.
He held her jaw so tightly she once thought it would break.

"GOD DAMN IT ARIEL! FUCKING JUST SAY YOU LOVE US EQUALLY!" Ace's angry voice made her tremble.

"I-I lo-ve yo-u al-l equ-all-y" she confessed in defeat. Alexander pulled her onto his lap. He stared at her with a devilish grin plastered on his face.

"Now that wasn't tough, was it?" He caressed her face with his knuckles. Tears streamed down her angelic face. Alexander leaned forward to kiss her, he gave a peck on her lips.

"Tired?" He questioned seeing her yawn. She nodded not wanting to make anyone angry. He chuckled catching a glimpse of her deadly gorgeous eyes. He patted her head softly.

As then darkness engulfed her...
