As the rain drops were falling to the ground, we see Mario sitting on a chair inside a building where inklings first enter the training course, waiting patiently for his orange, inkling girlfriend, Meggy to get here to train. Though he may hate training as an excuse to him to exercise, but at least there's always something good that motivates him: Meggy's personality, her confidence, and most of all: her cute smile that always motivates Mario.

Meggy: (Coughing) Sorry I'm late, babe! But I'm finally- (Panting heavily)

Mario: Ahh, there you are Meggy, I was getting worried for a second.

As Mario turns around on his right excitingly, with his Woomy girl finally... wait a minute, something is not right with Meggy, the Italian's smile soon formed into confused and and worried face of why does the orange inkling look like... this? Meggy's knees were slightly bent with her hands on top of the "Neko-Neko Kneecaps" to hold on to, almost looking like they're about to give out, Meggy was panting like she never had a break in forever.

What's up with Meggy?

:Mario/Narrator:

As soon Meggy catches her breath, she raises her face to make eye contact with Mario's, but as she did, when the Italian saw her face, he couldn't help but feel even more suspicious with her about what was wrong with Meggy. Her skin wasn't light at all, it was pale, white like ALL white as the snow and possibly maybe even bread dough that rises after the heat is done cooking, Meggy even looks very drowsy and her face is even showing a some red. I wonder- you know what, it's obvious, she's sick with a fever!

Meggy: 😅 - (Panting) I'm ready for training...

Mario: Uhh, Meggy, are you okay? You look tired and very pale. Are you sick?

Meggy didn't know how to respond to that, she tried to convince the Italian that everything was okay, but Mario was not buying it, he knows his girlfriend VERY well: whenever she tries to pretend that she isn't sick, Mario can already tell Meggy's lying to him, and finds that out already as a result. It's already pointless to even try to put a thick patch to pluck up the hole.

As Mario approaches Meggy, she tries to back away, like earlier, she tries to convince Mario again, but he already puts his right hand on her forehead, seeing if she has a fever or not, while the inkling is looking guilty for lying. The answer to him was pretty obvious. Mario looks at Meggy with disappointed face for trying to lie about she not having a fever at all.
