We arrived at the hospital in time to see the man being taken into surgery. The man must have been in his late 20's and it looked like he had been walking out of the woods before he was struck. "Any news yet," I asked the clerk at the desk. The clerk not looking up from the huge pile of work on her desk answered coldly" no I'm busy skidattle." Well she was rude. I looked outside and saw the rain Abe was right it was coming down in sheets. Another flash of lightning flashed down just by our car. I screamed and ran to Sydney and told her the news. "You can go check if it is safe to drive about a five miles." she said
"Okay" as I stepped outside I was immediately soaked I thought great, these are my new clothes and now they're ruined. I stepped off the curb when a flash of light came and everything went black.

Sydney was sitting in one of those chairs that was so uncomfortable. She was wondering why Namid hadn't come back to tell her if it was possible to drive, when all of a sudden a scream followed by "get a doctor someone's been struck by lightning!" I ran to see who it was and burst out crying it was Namid! As they put her in a stretcher all I could think is God let her live oh god! Someone said that she was in a coma.
