I woke up to jj getting into the shower. I roll over and grab my phone off the charger. I scroll through instagram a bit before getting up and ready. I grab a yellow crop top with a plaid sweater and a pair of blue jeans. I change and brush out my hair. I decided not to do anything to it and just leave it down. I walk out of the room and into JohnB's. I wake him up by jumping on him.
Johnb- kieeeeee get up pleasee
kie- fine but get up
I walk out of his room and into the kitchen. I clean up a little and start on making waffles for everyone. Pope is coming later so he's gonna miss out. I start by making the batter then pouring it into the maker. once they were done I called for the boys and they came running in.
the boys- thanks kie

we all take some waffles and put syrup on them. I ended up only eating 1 and the boys ate 3 each. Once we were done eating I washed the dishes then sat down on the couch. we were waiting for pope so we could go fishing out in the marsh. Pope finally arrives around 11pm and we finally leave the Chateau and set off. I took of my clothes I had on top covering my bathing suit to reveal my basic orange bathing suit. I left my flannel on just to hide my scars as a few of them are a little fresh from like 2-3 days ago. the boat suddenly comes to a stop as jj's standing on the front so he goes flying off.
Johnb- you alright jj
jj- I think my heels touched the back of my head.
jj-pope what did you do
pope- sandbar. changed the channel
jj- yea no shit, hey I saved the beer though
johnB- congrats jj
pope- guys I think there's a boat down there
kie- what no way
pope- no no guys im serious there's a boat down there
kie- holy shit he's right lets go.
we all take off everything but our bathing suits. we swim down to the boat and look around.
pope- did you guys see that
Johnb-hell yeah
jj- bro thats a Grady white one of them is at least 500Gs
John b- thats a boat I saw when I surfed the surge
jj- hell yeah thats my boy pouge style
kie- guys what if it has to do with a investigation we should go
jj- she's right for once lets head back to the Chateau
we all agreed and left. I completely forgot about my scars and didnt put on my sweater again. I sat next to jj as we drank a beer on our way back to the Chateau. We get there and get out. we tie the boat up and go sit by the hammock. I sit in it with jj and wait for pope and John b who have the beers and snacks.
jj- hey kie I have a question
kie- yes
jj- what's on your wrist I saw something when we were on the boat on the way here
kie- I-um its noting im fine
jj- im not stupid kie let me see
kie- ill show you and tell you later the boys are here
jj- ok you better
kie-promise
I grab a drink and snack from John B and get back onto the hammock with jj. I can't believe I let him see them. he's gonna be so mad at me. I can't tell him about them but I promised him I would.
jj- what are you thinking about kie
kie- nothing much
jj- its something you've been starring into space for the last 20 minutes
kie- no its nothing promise
jj- alright but can we go inside its getting cold
kie- yea
we walk inside and jump on jj's back. we walk into his room and im hoping he forgot about my arm. but that quickly got shut down.
jj- so kie what's up with ur wrist don't think I forgot
kie- i-um its a long story let me shorten it up
jj- k
kie- so when I was younger my mom and dad were awesome they loved me so much until my dad cheated. my mom divorced him and had 90% custody of me. so I had to see my dad on the weekend. and when I did he um he would Hurt me, he started out just yelling at me but then it got worse. he would hit me and slowly started to rape me. I haven't told anyone this besides a little to my mom. but once I turned 15 I had enough. I tried to commit scuicide. it obviously didnt work though. Ive been cutting since um the 4th grade so use always hid them. im embarrassed by it. everyone sees me by this sweet innocent girl but in reality im the opposite. im just another mess-up girl who just wants to be happy. so whenever you upset over anything this is why I know how to help you and why I understand what's happening to you. because ive been through it.
jj- holy shit
at this point I was sobbing. jj pulled me onto his lap and hugged me like there was no tomorrow. We stayed like that till I calmed down.
jj- im sorry
kie- its not your fault you didnt know
jj- I know but I should've realized it. when you were upset at school or just wouldn't talk at all. or how you wouldn't eat for a day or two at a time
kie- jj you wouldn't have been able to stop it so don't beat yourself up ok
jj- alright but can I um see your wrists
kie- sure
he looked upset when he saw them. I could tell he kept blaming himself for it. he eventually started to cry so thats when I pulled my arms back and gave him a hug. we stayed there until we both fell asleep.
I woke up in the middle of the night freezing cold on top of the blankets next to jj. I shook him to wake up and get changed into comfy clothes. we both changed and got under the covers. we cuddled up to each other and both said goodnight.
