Unknown caller

Chapter 1

"Oh shit it feels great to be home." Looking up I see my best friend who I've known basically my whole life fall onto my bed. "Work was that bad huh ?" I ask laughing while I flip through the channels on the tv.

"Oh Alex you have no idea I wish you worked today it was so boring without you there." She says flipping onto her stomach to look at me. "Well I work tomorrow and so do you so you should have a better day."

Just as I was going to ask her about her schedule her phone starts to go off. "Huh unknown caller ? I'm going to answer." Rolling my eyes I settle on just watching the old looney toons cartoon.

"Yes this is she." Must be an important call I'll turn down the tv. "Jeff ? As in Jeff Tremaine !?"

"Hold on can I put you on speaker for Alex can hear as well !" Turning off the tv I look her dead in the eye as she put her phone on speaker. "Okay can you just repeat what you said please." Miranda tells the dude on the phone as she smiles ear to ear.

"Hello Alex you may or may not know me but I'm the producer of the tv show and movie jack ass and I wanted to know if you and Miranda would like to be part of jack ass 2 ?" I look at my best friend who is sat across from me and mute the phone.

"Jack ass ? Dude are we even ready for that ?" I ask Miranda a little worried. "Alex we jumped into alligator infested water I'm sure we can take a few stun guns to the ass." Laughing at what she said I unmute him.

"Uh yeah that would actually be pretty cool." I say into the phone smiling like a mad man. "Oh okay great so we actually bought plane tickets for you two right now. You'll be flying out to California early morning tomorrow."

"Awesome ! See you soon !" Me and Miranda yelled into the phone. Miranda hangs up and jumps next to me. "We are going to fuck shit up!"

"Yeah well we have to pack first before we do any of that." I tell her getting up from my bed and pulling out my suitcase. Opening it I start to throw in sweaters, jackets, jeans, shorts, shirts, socks, and underwear.

Running into the restroom I get my hair straightener tooth brush and hair brush. "You all packed already ?" Miranda ask with her suitcase next to her. "Yeah I'm taking my stuff down right now." Walking down the stairs I put my suitcase near the door along with Miranda's. I go into the living room to find Miranda laying on the couch with a blanket thrown over her fast asleep.

Grabbing an extra blanket from the other couch I lay down on the opposite side of the couch and close my eyes to let sleep take over.
