Running into an old face

Chapter 2

"Alex wake up we have to get ready to catch the plane." Groaning I get up from the couch and walk upstairs to my room pulling out a Jean jacket black shirt and knee ripped jeans with my black belt.

I walk into the restroom do my business and hop into the shower. Washing my hair and body quickly I get out drying myself. I throw on my clothes and put on socks grabbing my black high top converse. I forgot to pack some shoes so I grab my white and black lace up vans with my white slip on vans along with my white high and low top converse.

Throwing them into my bag I hear a honk outside. Opening the door I see Miranda already in the taxi waving her arms to hurry me along. I grab my suite case and close the door and lock it.

Running to the taxi I throw my suitcase in with Miranda's and sit next to her. "To the airport please."

"When we get there we literally have to run because we have like 10 minutes." I look at her with wide eyes shocked that we only have 10 minutes to get to the airport. "Why are we so late ?" I ask rubbing my hands together.

"Because someone wanted to wake up late." She tells me laughing. "Okay ladies we're here." Throwing the money at the taxi man we grab our bags and haul ass to our plane.

"Wait wait !" I yell to the ticket lady. She waves her arms at us to hurry we make it and show her our tickets. "You ladies have a nice flight." She tells us smiling and closing the door behind us.

We walk onto the plane and take our seats Miranda of course gives me the window seat because she's always been scared of heights.

"I don't get how your scared of heights yet you always jump off cliffs and other things." I tell her laughing. "Because I don't look I just do." She tells me in a duh tone.

I laugh at her and rest my head against the seat as the plane takes off.

"Alex wake up we landed." Miranda tells me getting up from her seat. "Wait for me." I yell to her. "Well hurry slow poke." Picking up my speed I catch up to her and push her lightly.

Walking out of the airport with our suitcases behind us we see two men waving their arms crazy. "Bam is so fine in person." Miranda says making me laugh at her.

"Let us get those for you fine ladies." Ryan grabs my suitcase as bam grabs Miranda's who is trying not to freak out. They throw them into the back of the van that I guess they drive around here in California.

"You girls aren't cold ?" Bam ask us shivering. Looking at Miranda I shrug my shoulders and put my hands into my jacket pockets. "We're use to the cold." Miranda tells them also shrugging her shoulders.

"We grew up in Dallas it would always snow me and Alex would literally jump into it like it was nothing." Smiling I look down remembering the time me and Miranda got in trouble with our parents because we jumped into the snow with just our bra and short shorts. Miranda got grounded for like 2 days while I was grounded for 2 months of course that never stopped me from going outside and playing in the snow with Miranda.

"We're hereeee." Dunn tells us getting out of the van and opening the door for us. "Shall we?" Dunn ask putting his arm out for I can put mine through his.

"Hey Miranda want a piggy back ride ?" Turning around to look at my best friend I see her cheeks turn bright red. "Aw is little miss Miranda blushing ?"

"Fuck off Alex." She tells me flicking me off and jumping on Bam's back. "Let's have a race Alex jump on my back." Ryan squats down and I jump on his back.

"Oh your going to lose Lopez." Miranda tells me smirking. "Bring it Gonzales." I tell her smirking back. Before we could yell go the boys are running like maniacs through the building.
