Your POV:

This week has been absolute torture for me. All this weird tension between me and Aizawa had been very stressful. One minute he is acting perfectly normal other moments he's flirty and other times he's avoiding me. The emotional whiplash this man had given me the past week had been enough for a lifetime. Still he said he something big planned for tonight so here I am getting ready for the past four hours. Shota said to not dress fancy but that was the only information he gave me on what to wear. I finally landed on an off the shoulder pastel yellow romper. I paired it with a pair of comfy white wedges and I tied my hair back into a low ponytail with a few framing pieces in front. I didn't go too overboard with the makeup and kept it simple but cute. I didn't want to look overly sexy tonight because it didn't really sound like that kind of date. I still wanted to look pretty though. I looked myself over in the mirror trying to make sure everything was in place. Do I look too childish? Is the color to bright? Doubts and insecurities racked my brain. I tried to shake it off but that nervous feeling in the pit of my stomach wouldn't go away. Then a ring at my doorbell came. Shit. I put a few more spurts of perfume on and took a deep breath before opening the door. Aizawa was standing in the doorway his hair pulled back and he was wearing a white button up underneath a blue sweater. I don't think I've ever seen him wear a color besides black or white. Not that I'm complaining he looks good in color. Too good. I felt my face heat up and I realized I was staring too long.

"Oh Um hi," I say awkwardly losing all the charm I promised I would have tonight. Aizawa smirked and handed me the beautiful bouquet of flowers. "Oh you don't have to," I said while taking the flowers.

"I wanted to," he said cooly that sent a shiver up my spine.

"Oh well thank you. They're lovely, let me go put them in some water," I said holding up the flowers trying to hide my blush. I ran inside and out the flowers in a vase with water and ran back out to meet Aizawa. "So where to?" I asked, it was still early in the day so I had no clue what he had planned.

"I have a few things in mind," he replied with a wink. The action caught me off guard I didn't know Aizawa could wink.

"Let me guess you're still not going to tell me," I asked as he led me to his car.

"Where would be the fun in that," he replied opening the door for me. I rolled my eyes playfully and got in. The car ride was smooth but long and filled with me fiddling with the radio trying to find something we both liked. We did not have similar taste in music at all. Which is ok we don't have to have everything in common I remind myself. Opposites attract right? My train of thought is cut off with Aizawa announcing that we are here. I look out the window to see we on the other side of town over at the pier but it's not usually so lit up. I look out the window to see food trucks, a Ferris wheel, a few small rides, and a lot of carnival games.

"Oh my gosh I completely forgot the carnival was coming to town I haven't been in years," I said looking out the window my face pressed up the glass like a child. Aizawa chuckled and I turned to see a smirk on his face.

"Well what do you think? Do you want to go," he asked.

"Of course," I replied excitedly opening the car door not wasting a single moment more in that car when there is a whole pier of fun to have. I giggled as Aizawa had to catch up to me as I made way to the bright lights and sounds of carnival music. Suddenly Aizawa's hand found mine and I nearly halted in my steps there a fierce blush taking over me. A jolt of tingles shot up my arm at the new sensation. Aizawa looked sheepish and a bit nervous his eyes glancing at me every few seconds. I smiled and gave his hand a reassuring squeeze. Aizawa returned the gesture and we continued to walk hand in hand.

"Why don't we get some food first," he suggested and as much as I wanted to go play carnival games I could not ignore the rumbling in my stomach. I nodded and I let Aizawa lead the way to one of the food trucks. It was a sushi food truck that didn't have a ton of customers. I gave Aizawa a questioning look.

"I don't think I trust sushi from a food truck," I said in a whisper. Aizawa chuckled.

"Just trust me," he said his eyes never leaving mine. I gulped and nodded. We ordered our food and once it arrived we found a nearby bench to sit and eat our food. I had to admit it looked pretty tasty despite coming in a styrofoam container. I nervously dug in and I pleasantly surprised at the burst of amazing flavor that erupted in my mouth.

"Oh my gosh Shota this is amazing. You really do know all the best places," I exclaimed digging into the amazing food. Aizawa smiled and offered up a bite of his food which I took happily. "I'm sorry I must be making a mess of myself," I exclaimed grabbing a napkin to wipe my mouth. Before I had time to Aizawa reached forward and used his thumb to brush away any food that had been there.

"You look lovely." My heart may have stopped right then and there. He chuckled then added, "What do you want to do next?"

"I would like to beat your ass at some carnival games," I said with a laugh. Aizawa smirked at me with a raised eyebrow.

"Game on," he replied. Just like that we were off and I was dragging Aizawa to several games. We had very intense game of trying to see who could pop the most balloons with darts which cost us a lot of money that I don't think either of us will admit to. Then it came to the game where you throw a ball and try to knock over all the cans which Aizawa was very good at  so good that he won me a giant teddy bear that I was very enthused about. Everything felt perfect nothing was awkward between us we just flowed easily together it was nice. I even convinced Aizawa to go on the tilta-whirl which left him a little nauseous afterwards. All and all though he was fine and we laughed. God I love his laugh. The sun was settling on the horizon and I looked over at the Ferris wheel and I thought how pretty the view would be from the top.

"Do you want to ride the Ferris wheel with me?"

"I don't know how fast does it spin," he replied sarcastically making me laugh.

"Come on the view at this time of day will be fantastic," I pleaded using my highly efficient puppy dog eyes.

"Fine." I smiled brightly and pulled him towards the line for the Ferris wheel. After a good fifteen minutes we were finally able to get on a cart in which Aizawa was very surprised that it moved.

"Have you never been on a Ferris wheel before," I asked as the ride attended locked us in.

"No I've never been to the carnival before either," he replied and my mouth literally dropped.

"I can't believe that you've never been before! Then how did you know that I would like it here," I asked.

"Well it sounded like something you would enjoy and I may have consulted some outside sources," he said rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. I rolled my eyes and smiled at the adorable man in front of me.

"It's fine Shota I think it's sweet," I said with a smile, outstretching my hand to take his. Aizawa happily took my hand without any complaints. I looked out the side of the cart as we went higher and higher. The view was breathtakingly beautiful, the way the sun hit the water and the blend of colors in the sky was perfect. "Wow this view is absolutely breathtaking," I said pressing myself closer to the edge of the cart.

"It really is," Aizawa replied but when I turned to look at him I realized he wasn't looking at the view when he said that. He was looking at me. I couldn't help but blush as Aizawa leaned in closer. "I really like you y/n," he confessed his lips inching towards mine.

"I like you too but your my boss how-"

"That doesn't matter right now. All that matters is you and me," Aizawa cut me off and suddenly his lips were in mine. A million sparks went off in my brain but our kiss was short lived with an explosion that went off in the distance. Our cart came to a sudden stop jolting me back a little. I looked over the edge of the cart to see fire and destruction in the distance. Of course just as my night was getting good.
