Izuku had put on his simi dark blue jeans, a hunter green t-shirt and a pair of black shoes that Katsuki had got him saying he needed something other than his red ones, cause they didn't go with everything and headed downstairs. "Hey, you ready to go?" he asked the brunette girl.
Looking away from the group of girls she was standing with. " Yes, let's go." The two teens walked off toward the closest station.
Looking at her he said. "I was thinking about a movie, but I think I have something in mind you may like better."
Turning to him smiling "Okay, I am leaving it up to you."
First they took a train across town. There was an animal shelter where you could spend the day playing with dogs, cats, birds and other critters big or small. Izuku knew she loved all kinds of animals.
She squealed when she saw where they were going. As the two sat in the grass and played with puppies and kittens they talked. Starting the conversation Izuku said, "I am glad I asked you out, and that you said yes."
Smiling at him she let out a small giggle "me too." She could tell he was nervous, and seemed to have something on his mind. "Deku, is there something you need to talk about?"
Letting out a sigh as he picked at the grass "Wow you are perceptive." Not knowing where to start he told her. "I really do like you and have for some time, and I don't want you to misunderstand."
She smiled at him "But"
Looking at her he went on "But something happened, something I never thought was possible."
The brown haired girl could see her friend start to fidget and she knew this was something he did to try and calm his nerves. He started again "Someone I didn't realize I had feelings for...well maybe I did but I don't know, anyway they made it clear they have feelings for me. Now I am not sure what to do."
She picked up one of the puppies by her feet asking. "Well, is this something important to you, something you feel that you need to explore...and see if it goes anywhere?"
Biting his lower lip he said. "I think so, I think I owe it to myself and this person."
"I see, so did this happen after you asked me out?" she asked, looking him in the eyes. "I am not judging you, ok."
Taken in a breath he stated. "Yes, I was caught off guard and have been trying to figure things out since it happened."
With a thoughtful look on her face she asked "When did it happen?"
Looking down at the grass where some kittens were pouncing on each other , he explained "Late last Night."
Sitting beside him still holding the puppy she had picked up. "You know you can tell me anything, that's what friends are for and I hope we stay friends forever."
A small smile crossed his face as he continued. "Thank you and I hope we always stay friends as well...so you are not mad?" still not looking up from the kittens in the grass.
She just raised an eyebrow at him. "I am surprised you have to ask me that, besides after I said yes to you I felt guilty." she told him shrugging a little.
Taking his attention off the kitten he was now holding he asked. "What do you mean?" finally making eye contact with her.
Placing a hand on his shoulder and turning to face him head on. "You have been training a lot and I have been spending a lot of time with other people, I realized after we made plans I kinda like someone else as well." She went on. "I think I said yes to you because I had waited so long for you to ask me, and I know that is not a good reason to accept a date, but there is something I would like to try before we call it quits." She leaned in and gave him a small peck on the lips.
