Unfairness

Hey everyone, sorry this update took a while, but I made the 13 OC's and made a stupid mistake of not making notes on their names, quirks, and descriptions so I had to go back and hunt them down and make notes. This also includes the OC bad guys. That took a while because honestly, it was more work than I wanted to do sometimes. Lesson learned. that mixed with some writers block for this story alone.. man was that rough, anyway I finally got it all worked out so here we go. Also I do not own the awesome art or song used for this chapter. Happy Reading (: 

Durken and Kirka had an early morning meeting with the two businessmen from the night before. They walked into a large meeting room on the top floor of an office building in down town Tokyo.  "We have twelve hours left before auction, make sure the merchandise stays tagged and clean." 

The shorter of the two suits said as he turned to face them. "The heroes have been miss informed on prepose. They have been told this is a sex trafficing ring, when in fact it is a quirk trafficing ring." He laughed as they both smiled thinking this was the funniest thing they had ever heard. "I mean we just gather and provide the goods, I don't know or care what happens when the merchandise reaches it's destination."    

Durken smirked as Kirka remembered when she was one of the girls that was rounded up and held against her will. She remembered the unfairness of it all. She had no family to look for her or report her missing, so when she was offered a place in the ring she took it not seeing any other way. At first she was bitter, and went along with it because there was no one there to save her. Now, she hates it really, but what is she supposed to do. She doesn't see a way out. 

Durken made eye contact with the two suits. "We will make sure they are ready to go when the time comes." Giving Kirka a side glance, she spoke up. "Yes, we will keep them tagged and in good standing." 

Tagged she hated that term, that is what the drug used to keep them from activating their quirks is called. It blocks their quirk factors until it wares off or is reversed. It also tracks them as long as it is active. Most nights she still wakes up in a cold sweat, from the night mares of being taking away. 

She was seven teen at the time and a student in a general studies class at a school that is not well known. A child orphaned and poor no one noticed when she went missing, this made her bitter for a long time. Now she was second guessing everything. Kirka knew if anyone found out, her life would be in danger, she had to play it safe, and play the part.  

The multi colored hair women has spent the last few moths trying to figure a way out. Once last month she tried to help three girls escape and almost got caught. She had to recapture them and then they were sold immediately. Now she sat in her room trying to figure out how to get the girls out before another club got hit. 

Kirka was lost in her head when her phone rang. "Hello?" she questioned into the device. 

A rough voice came through. "We have a round up tonight." 

She scoffed. "What, so soon? We have never had one that close to an auction, let alone on the same damn night. They are getting sloppy."

The voice came again. "That's what I was told to pass on, I don't like it, usually we let the heat die down before another round up."

Shaking her head in disbelief, she said. "Thanks, for the heads up." Before ending the call. This is just great she thought, maybe they will get themselves caught and I won't have to do a damn thing.  She knew she would need make sure the girls are ready and retagged the for the auction tonight. 

People from all over the world would be at the auction, that's how it always turns out, and is the sad truth. Anyone from rich to supper filthy rich. Politicians, business men and women, oil tycoons, royalty, even some corrupt heroes. Anyone looking for unusual or specific quirks.
