A/N: Hey, look I finally got it done. Sorry it took so long. I am going to do my best to proofread this because I try really hard to make sure I get all the mistakes but sometimes they slip through. Anyway I hope everyone enjoys it. So here we go.
Aizawa sat in his office grading papers in the downstairs area of the teacher's dorm building, thinking about the ring burning a hole in his pocket. I can't wait to give this to her. I never thought I would find her again after that summer. He thought to himself as he started grading a paper that had the name Midoriya at the top of it. A smile came over his face without him realizing it. There was a knock at his office door, without looking up he said. "Come in."
Green eyes came into view as he lifted his head from the paper that belonged to his soon to be stepson. "Am I too early?"
Aizawa took in the teens happy features. "No, I am just grading my last paper. I would say you're right on time." Smiling as his eyes fell on Izuku's index finger, seeing the ring a certain blonde placed on it the night before. Giving a small smile. "I take it, the date went well?" He asked, tilting his head toward the teen's hand.
Izuku smiled back with blush on his cheeks. "Yes, it did...and I hope yours goes just as well."
Giving a slight nod of his head. "You and me both kid, you and me both." Aizawa picked up the stack of graded papers and placed them in a folder and put it in his desk drawer.
With a single nod, Izuku raised a brow. "Are those our essays?"
Dark eyes look up to bright green ones. "Yes, and don't ask what you made you will find out in class, like everyone else."
Midoriya shot him a smile. "I wasn't planning on it. I knew you wouldn't tell me now anyway."
"Well, take a seat, we may be here a while." The raven haired man said as the teen took a few more steps into his office. The two sat in the pro heroes office for a few hours discussing what would take place as well as the time and that it would be later tonight, for the highly anticipated proposal. "So, what do you think...will she be surprised and most importantly will she like it?"
Izuku took pride in the fact that his teacher took the time to come up with the perfect evening for his mother, and that he shared it with him. He knew his mom would be well taken care of and loved. Smiling wide he told the older male. "Recreating your first date, I think she will love it. I am so happy for you both, thank you for loving her the way you do. I will be there to hand deliver the first clue, and place the second one."
Taking in his students' faces, Aizawa said. "It is our one year anniversary after all, besides she makes it easy, and there is no need to thank me, she deserves it. She is an amazing person."
Izuku couldn't help but beam at the man across the desk from him. "I can't wait for you to officially be a part of our family." He could just imagine how much his mother would love the evening planned and couldn't help but feel so happy for them both.
A half smile found its way to Aizawa's face. "Get out here kid, I am sure you have someone waiting on you, and Midoriya thank you for helping me plan this surprise for your mother and keeping it a secret."
Standing and heading for the door Midoriya chuckled softly. "Yeah I'm sure he's been looking for me. You're welcome...later Dad." Izuku said that last part with a laugh.
Shota shook his head as he threw a balled up piece of paper at green hair. "Get, problem child. By the way there is a pop quiz on Monday." He said as the teen headed out of his office.
"Thanks for the heads up." he called back over his shoulder without turning around. As he made his way back to his own dorm building and to find his boyfriend.
