"your girl? what the hell are you talking about?" kazutora speaks up, looking between you and the haitanis. something clicks in his mind when he sees your downcast expression and the smug smirks on the haitanis faces.

"y/n, what the hell are they talking about?" mikey clenches his fists, glaring at the haitanis before looking at you with a hopeful expression, but you say nothing.

"she's with us now. she's with tenjiku." kazutora and mikey stare at the haitani brothers, then glance over at you. you confirm it with a nod of your head. rindou walks over to you and tries to pull you away from kazutora, who is clinging onto your right arm.

"let her go." rindou demands.

"kazu, let me go." you back rindou, immediately feeling kazutora loosen his hold, allowing rindou to drag you back to his brother, making you stand behind him and ran.

"leave. y/n doesn't want to see you guys." ran says, but his words aren't true at all. you really want to see them, you want to apologize, but your words won't come out. stupid wound.

"y/n-" mikey finally speaks up, choking on his words slightly.

"leave." rindou follows up from his brother's earlier demand. mikey helps kazutora from the ground, and you can't help but smile a little bit. they're starting to get along again. with one last glance in your direction, mikey forces kazutora to leave, despite the boys struggling.

"ugh, finally." rindou slumps down onto the couch once the door shuts behind them, while you just stand there.

"don't worry, you'll see them again." ran reassures you, and your momentary relief is ruined moments later by rindou.

"yeah, toman and tenjiku fight." you can hear a hint of amusement in his voice when he says that, but you're barely processing what he actually said.

forcing words out of your mouth, you turn to rindou, shock written all over your face, "toman...tenjiku, fight?" you don't speak in full sentence because of your wound.

"yes, that's like the main reason izana formed tenjiku, to take toman, or mikey more specifically, down." his words make your heart drop. you may have left mikey, but that was because you didn't want to be around anyone in toman.

fighting him is the last thing you'd want to do, plus, it would hurt the both of you. starting to shake your head, you back away from the brothers, who both stare at with worry, "y/n?"

"no..." you can taste the blood coming back into your mouth, "i don't want to go...against mikey. i can't." the blood is filling your mouth and you resist the urge to cough it out in front of them, running to your room instead. you lock the door and cough, blood splattering onto the carpet.

"y/n!" one of them starts to bang on your door, twisting the locked doorknob. nothing budges as you ponder through your thoughts, wondering what you should do now.

soon, the banging stops. then, your phone buzzes with a notification.

unknown: y/n, i need to speak with you.

y/n: who are you?

unknown: izana.

you turn your phone off and bite your lip. tears form in your eyes, why is everything so frustrating. but if you did go up against toman, you could just avoid mikey and get revenge on all the other members, right?

right?

you grunt in frustration and grab your phone, sending a quick message to izana.

y/n: meet me at the arcade.

later, the haitanis finally pry your locked door open, only to be hit with a gust of wind. they are greeted with your closet flung open, and your window unlocked. but you.

you're nowhere to be seen.

UNEDITED.

a/n: i just want to say that there are still two love interests we have yet to meet, and one of the ones we have met, y/n's barely spoken to them, so this book may be longer than i thought.
