I shut the door to McDonalds, carelessly since my hands are full with stuff for family. We have been driving for 16 hours now! Who knew it would take this long to go from Manhattan to Miami?
We're going to Miami to visit Jason and Piper 'cause we're having a reunion kinda thing. All of the seven will be there. I haven't seen them in 6 years, after that we are all going to camp halfblood. Which I find really confusing since we live in Manhattan. But the kids wanted to visit Miami and see the beaches and stuff.
I reach my blue car. Annabeth impatiently opens the door for me, "Percy what took so long?"
"There was a really long line!" I exclaim.
"Sure..." She says rolling her eyes and taking the bag from me.
"Dad did you get coke with extra ice? It is SOOO hot here!"
"Yeah, Sel yours has extra ice." Luke replies. I start driving again hopefully the rest of the trip is calm!
