The flight was planned. Marinette, Nino, Chloe, Chloe's butler, and Lila would fly to New York that Saturday night in Chloe's private helicopter. Once they got there, they would visit the houses of the heroes and see if any of the heroes had seen Adrien. They would fly home on Sunday morning, with or without Adrien. Marinette thought they should keep searching for Adrien until they found him, but Lila thought that was unnecessary. Marinette was packing a bag on Saturday night, about to leave, when she thought of something.

"Mullo, when did I tell Cat Blanc I'd return?" asked Marinette.

"You said, to quote, 'I'll come back to visit you again on Saturday night,'" quoted Mullo.

"Darn it!" said Marinette. "I guess I can't fly to New York."

"Are you sure?" asked Mullo. "Do you care more about saving Adrien or Cat Blanc? You can't save both right now."

"Well," Marinette thought about what Mullo said. "My assembled team can still rescue Adrien, but who will save Cat Blanc? I don't want to make him mad as I have before."

Marinette sent Chloe a text saying that she wouldn't be able to make it but to text her how the mission went. Marinette then went downstairs, looking disappointed.

"What is it, Marinette?" asked Sabine.

"I forgot that I had homework to do," said Marinette, telling the truth.

"How much?" asked Sabine.

"Something for every subject," said Marinette, still telling the truth.

"But don't you have that flight to New York tonight?" asked Tom.

"Yeah," sighed Marinette.

"I don't want you doing your homework at the last minute like you always do," said Tom. "Marinette, I would like you to stay back from the flight and do your homework."

"Yes, Dad," said Marinette, going back upstairs. "I'll text Chloe."

"You should really do that homework," said Mullo when Marinette came back.

"I should," admitted Marinette. "But I have other obligations to attend to. Mullo, Get Squeaky!"

Marinette went up to her roof and jumped from building to building, still not used to not using her yoyo. Eventually, she got to the Glass Dome. The zoo was closed and a security guard was walking around. All of the cages were dark except for the aquarium and the Glass Dome. The zookeepers must really want to make sure Cat Blanc stays in his cage, thought Multimouse. Multimouse decided to use her power so the guard wouldn't see her.

"Multitude," whispered Multimouse.

Multimouse climbed up to the window just like she had the last time and went in. The shrunken Multimice went back into one Multimouse and she regrew.

"Marinette?" asked Cat Blanc, turning towards Multimouse.

"Hey, Cat," said Multimouse. "I almost couldn't come today, but I made it!"

"What happened?"

"I was going to go search for my friend Adrien in New York with the help of some classmates."

"Adrien?"

She'd go all the way to New York just to look for me? Thought Cat Blanc.

"Adrien Agreste," said Multimouse. "He went missing right after you were trapped here."

"He isn't missing," said Cat Blanc. "And he isn't in New York. He's not okay..."

Cat looked at Multimouse.
