Chapter 5

— Chapter 5 —
The morning sun shone in and hit on the face. His eyes began to blink rapidly to adjust to the light. The tall figure felt a huge headache. Why was the power of wild liquor causing him so much torture?

Chief Sinth opened his eyes and looked in the direction of the light coming through the window. Before he sat up with difficulty and begin to check himself. His chest was still wide open because the little guy unbuttoned it last night. Fortunately, today was a holiday, otherwise, he wouldn't be able to bring himself to work.

And the tall man had to smile when he saw something lying on the bedside table. It was a small glass cup with two painkillers
inside and a drinking glass with a lid set up waiting for him to wake up to drink.

Chief Sinth grabbed the pills and looked at them for a moment before throwing them into his mouth and drinking water. Then he got out of bed, opened the window across to Dr. Chol's residence, and looked at the room opposite.

Doctor Chol's bedroom window was still closed, not wide open like every morning. The little one stayed up to take care of him until late at night and couldn't get enough sleep. Then the tall man smiled as if he remembered something before walking out of the room.

Time passed until late morning, the wooden door of Dr. Chol's residence was opened as the figure of the owner of the house stepped out and pressed the remote control on the car key to unlock hid car then go out to find something to eat. "Elephants invade their farms. At this time of every year, elephants come down to destroy the crops that the villagers have planted until they are damaged. But until now, this problem has not been solved. The village headman seriously wants to find a solution to this issue. Therefore, he needs help from our unit in case we can find a solution to this problem. I arranged to meet with the village headman and village representatives to discuss this afternoon. So I want you to join because you probably know the nature of animals better than us."
"Okay, I will. But from now on you don't have to look for me, you'll just get tired. You can tell Rung or Kwan to call me, they have my number."
