Chapter 6

— Chapter 6 —

After taking Dr. Chol to see a doctor at the sanatorium. Chief Sinth was the one who brought Dr. Chol back to his home by himself. This baffled his underlings, the cold- hearted person as Chief Sinth was interested in caring for this young veterinarian. Although, he had never treated anyone this way before.

"Thank you very much. You saved me again, chief."

"No problem, you are like an officer in the unit. In any case, I have to take care of you
too."

"Okay, I'm gonna rest first."

The smaller man replied with a sober
expression that the other person noticed.

"Are you still devastated about the mother monkey?"

Doctor Chol stopped, he turned around and nodded in response.

"This is the first time. It's a little difficult for me to accept it but I'll get used to it one
day."

"Mhm, don't worry. I ordered Napat
and uncle Perm to bury its body already. As for its baby, Kwan and Rung are now taking care of it. You should get some rest and take the medicines as prescribed by the doctor. Here's the medicine bag. There's a medical certificate in here. You can have your day off from work for a few days. Until you get better then get back to work."

"Thank you once again."

Doctor Chol took the bag of pills and gave a slight smile before opening the door to enter the house. Even a slight smile appeared on the pale face. But it brought joy to the heart of the person who receive it causing him to slightly smile in response.

The next morning

After chief Sinth woke up to take a shower and get dressed, he opened the bedroom window. He looked at the window of the opposite house that had been left open.
But there was no one in the room. Only the mattress was empty with the pillows and blankets neatly folded away.

Something sounded from below, attracting the tall figure to follow the sound. He frowned his brows as soon as he saw the man who has been sick shoveling the ground of a tree next to the house.

Doctor Chol was still enjoying the shoveling, pulling grass until he didn't realize that someone is standing behind him.

"Why you woke up too early?"

Sweet's face lift upward to look at the person who stood there for a moment, then turned around to continue his work before answering the question without looking back.

"I had had enough sleep, so I came out to find something to do, to cure my boredom. But you also wake up early too."

"I will be having a patrol. So I'll have to go out early to get ready. But I asked for a medical certificate for you to take have days off and stay at home, not gardening."

"Do you want me to just sit and lie still inside the house? I'd bored to death. I have to do something to at least get some exercise."

"Then you shouldn't stay outside for long. When the sun comes out just get inside the villa, okay?"

"Okay,"

Doctor Chol obeyed, easily. But deep inside, he puzzled, as to why he had to obey chief Sinth in everything. Even though he had no right to give orders to doctor Chol anyway. As for chief Sinth himself, he became annoyed with himself because he wasn't sure if he was too intervened with the little ones.

In the midst of the tumult. Uncle Perm, who had just arrived, immediately greeted them both.

"Ah, chief, doctor Chol. What are you guys doing?"
