The Ainsworth Household (Y/n's Pov)
Y/n and Ciel were fully unconscious on two sofas in the main area when Karin and Asuna approached them.Angelica was there in the room, but she was pacing up and down, nervously biting her nail and wearing the expression of a worried mother on her face.
Angelica: I can't believe that he's compatible just like me, I was hoping they wouldn't have to deal with what I had to go through...
Karin: It's not only that but he seems to have a stronger smell of my King than you do.
Angelica: Which means he's 100% compatible...
Karin: 100%?
Angelica: He has access to all treasures S class and above. That includes Ea.
Asuna: Ea? Seriously?
Angelica: If he's 100% compatible then yes it's possible. It means that Gilgamesh has recognised him as his greatest successor.
Asuna: His greatest successor... awww, I wanted it to be Ciel!
Karin swung around and punched Asuna in the face, causing her to cease whining and clutch her head in pain.
Asuna: Karin! What was that for?!
Karin: We're basically in the presence of our King's reincarnation, and you're whining that it's not the one you're supposed to keep a close eye on? Are you joking?!
Asuna frowned then turned away childishly.
Asuna: It was only a joke...
Angelica: Now isn't the time for jokes.
Angelica was loosening the buttons of Gilgamesh's shirt when Karin and Asuna turned to her.
Karin: What are you doing?
Angelica brushed her aside and opened the last button on his shirt, revealing red lines all over his body.
Karin: Those red markings... what are they? I saw them on my King but never fully understood them...
Angelica: They're simply a divinity mark that appears when a divine entity is at full strength, and as you can see, Y/entire n's power is currently being released.
Asuna: Released? You mean he's losing it?
Karin sighed tired of Asuna's and her silly comments.
Karin: No, stupid knucklehead, she's talking about spending. You know how when you activate your own aura, you're releasing your power and allowing others to feel it?
Asuna: Ah...
Karin turned back to Angelica to see her place her hand on his chest.
Karin: What are you doing?
Angelica: Just watch.
Angelica's palm shone with a golden light before pressing into Y/n's chest, forcing him to blink open as he gasped for oxygen. He leapt to his feet as Angelica took a step back, allowing him to take in his surroundings and digest everything.
He looked up at Angelica and Karin and Asuna behind her.
Y/n: Mother?
Angelica: Did you enjoy your sleep, Y/n? Or are you Gilgamesh now?
Y/n's eyes widened as he held his head in agony, grunting as he struggled to calm the ache of an unexpected migraine.
Asuna: W-W-What's happening to him?
