One sunny morning in Florida, Erica woke up in her apartment with a lot of abdominal pain. When she went to the bathroom, her underwear was full of blood. Something wasn't sitting right, so Erica had her mom take her to the E.R. What the doctor told Erica wasn't what she wanted to hear.

"I'm sorry, but unfortunately, you had a miscarriage."

Erica was devastated by the news as her mother comforted her the best way she could.

"I'm sorry, honey."

Rosa wanted to find a way to get her sister back in the same room; they needed to hash everything out. She talked to Evelyn once or twice about it, and she declined every time.

"Rosa, I love you for trying to fix this, but I don't think you can. Give it up."

Giving up was something Rosa didn't believe. The holidays were approaching, and this could be the perfect time to try and fix it. Something had to give. She called her mom and saw if she had any ideas for her.

"Mom, I need help getting my sisters back on the same page. Anything in mind?"

"Honey, your sister lost the baby. If this doesn't get you guys back on the same page, I don't know what will. Unfortunately, a loss brings the family together."

That afternoon Rosa went to see her sister to try and talk to her one more time.

"Sis, we need to talk quick. I have some sad news, but I'm hoping it can change something for the better."

"Rosa, if you are here to talk about your sister, you can stop now."

"She lost her baby, and she needs us more than ever."

Rosa wasn't giving her a chance to decline once more as it was the right time to return to their routine.

"I'm sorry, Rosa, but this doesn't change what she did, and you know that."

"I didn't say it did, but our sister needs us, and you know that. So, get packed; we leave tonight."

The girls decided to invite the guys to go with them to Miami for the weekend. The following day after breakfast,, the girls went to see Erica. Erica didn't know they were coming, and neither did Gloria.

"Omg, my baby. What are you doing here? Omg, I'm so happy to see you girls."

She hugged both girls as she welcomed them in and offered them some coffee or breakfast.

"We already ate breakfast with the guy's mom, thank you. I missed you, mom. My sister's home?"

Her mother told her she had moved out to her place.

"Mom, please give us the address. We need to talk to her."

Gloria looked at Evelyn and saw so much hurt in her eyes.

"Sweety, I know my daughter hurt you, but I know the love you both have for each other, and I believe you shall pass this storm."

She hugged her and gave them Erica's address.

She was blown away when Erica saw her sisters at her door.

"Listen, I don't have the energy to argue with either of you; please go."

Rosa held the door open and went on telling her sister

"We just came to talk, in peace. Please let us in."

Erica let them in,, and they all sat down to have coffee

"Mom told us what happened, and we are sorry. We are here because we need to fix ourselves, get us back to our normal."
