It was a dark night in Godric's Hollow. All was still, until he apparated in the street in front of the Potter's house.

"James, he's here!!" Lily Potter exclaimed quietly.
"Take Harry and run!! Get out of here, I'll hold him off." James urged his wife.

..Later that night..
'Not Lily, please, not Lily!' he wished. He knew that the Dark Lord more than likely killed her, 'but maybe, just maybe, he spared her life!'
Severus entered Harry's room when his heart skipped a beat. There was Lily, dead on the floor. He rushed to her body and hugged her, stroking her hair. Then he heard it. A baby's cry. He had heard Harry's cry, but this was different. Alongside Harry's cry, there was another, a higher pitched one. Severus looked and saw, a child!! A newborn child, unharmed, covered in blood, and crying. He then realized that the baby would not make it if he didn't do something to save it.
He used his wand to cut the umbilical cord and examined the baby.
"A girl?!" Severus couldn't believe it, Lily had given birth while she was dying! Conjuring a blanket to warm the child, he looked around for something, anything, that would explain this, when he saw a small notebook under Harry's crib.
"Accio," Severus whispered as the book zoomed to him. Catching it, he went to the bookmarked page and read the passage.
'If someone finds this, please give this page to Severus Snape.
Dear Severus,
James and I have news, I'm pregnant again, but it's a girl this time! I already have a name picked out for her too, Y/N Seva Potter!
It has taken a lot of convincing, but James and I agreed to make you her godfather. ((James decided Harry's godfather so it was my turn)) If anything happens to us, I want you to take care of our daughter for me. When she comes of age, please do send her to Hogwarts. Thank you.
