Chapter 11: Cedric
I'm guessing everyone was wearing the same thing they did when they died, I never noticed it until now. Cedric had scratched and dirt on his face and was wearing his Hufflepuff jumper, the same one he wore in the maze.
He looked confused and disoriented. There seems to be a hint of recognition in his eyes when saw me. "Good morning Cedric, my name is Hermione Potter or you may remember me as Hermione Granger." I said smirking. He laughed and seemed to ease up a bit "I'm minister for magic and I need you to take some of this veritaserum and answer some questions for me" He nodded in agreement. "What's your full name?" "Cedric Amos Diggory," "How old are you?" "17." "Last date you remember?"
"June 24th 1995," "What did the badges that Slytherin made say?" "Potter stinks." "Who everyone have to save from the black lake during the second task?" "I had to save Cho, Harry had to save Ron, Krum had to save you and Fleur had to save her little sister but Harry saved her instead since Fleur couldn't." "Who did you take to the yule ball?" "Cho Chang."
"Where did the portkey take you when you and Harry grabbed it?" "A grave yard." "Okay perfect! Did you have any questions?" "What's the date?" "July 14th 2018." "My parents and Harry okay?" "Yes they're both fine, it took Harry a long time to heal from what happened, both with your death and that was the day Voldemort returned, but he has done therapy and stuff like that since then and he's doing really well now. He's on an auror mission in America with Ron right now." He nodded and paused for a moment.
"Do you know anything about Cho?" "She was married to a muggle for a while, they have a kid together but they divorced shortly before she gave birth." "she's a single mother at the moment, your death was very hard on her and still is, she misses you a lot..." He smiled. "Okay thank you.." I smiled back "She's living in London at the moment." "Thanks Hermione" "No problem, I just need you to sign here and here to reverse your death certificate and then you can join the others down the hall, I have some paperwork to do really quick then I'll join all of you shortly." "Kay, see you in a bit."
Oh, thank God that is over, I wasn't able to have breakfast and I hope the kids aren't causing Teddy too much trouble.
