Chapter 12: Hey beautiful

Dear Harry and Ron,

I hope things are going well on your mission, thing have been hectic this morning at the ministry, but we got it all under control, have fun with your last few days in America and we all have some surprises for you when you get back, When you see them, you may not think it's real, but I assure you they are.

I'm excited, yet scared to see their reactions, Harry's been through so much, he'll probably think it's a joke. I finished my paper work and went to see the others. The Marauders and their friends were all huddled together, talking and crying, Sirius and Remus were telling James, Lily, Frank and Alice about Harry and Neville and everything they knew about them so far. Fred and Cedric were chatting not to far away and a few other people I recognized, yet didn't interview such as Dumbledore, Snape and Mad Eye were talking about random things together.

Regulus, of course was the first to notice me "Hey beautiful" he said flirtatiously, wiggling his eyebrows. Everyone burst into laughter while Sirius smacked his brother in the head. Remus and Fred were on the floor, still laughing, I just rolled my eyes and continued towards them.

Sirius smirked at me, "Soo, Mrs. Potter? How are things? I smirked and everyone who I didn't interview were laughing playfully and started teasing me. "Fine, I sent Harry and Ron a letter as they are in America right now on an auror mission, and the Weasleys and some others should be here soon." "My baby is an auror!?" Lily said, her voice cracking a little.

"Yes, he is." "And your Minister for Magic?" Tonks put in "Yes, since 2006, the youngest ever and first girl." Sirius started clapping dramatically "Alright Hermione! WHOOO!" I could feel my face heating up Lily glared at him. "Leave the poor girl alone Sirius!" Another auror came in "Minister, the families just arrived" "Okay thank you, do you all remember the rooms you were in previously?" I chorus of Yeses echoed through the room "Okay, everyone go back to the rooms, couples and sibling can be together and we'll send your families in, feel free to take as much time as you want." "James, Lily and Sirius, stay with me and you guys can see the kids, Harry won't be back until the 16th, Regulus you can come too if you'd like." As I watched everyone go to their separate rooms, I followed the other 4 to the room James and Lily were in. The kids were already waiting in there, and all ran up to me when they saw me.

"MUM!" "MUM!" I laughed, "Did you guys behave for Teddy" My oldest spoke up "The girls were a little antsy since you left but not too bad, otherwise yes." "Mmn, I'll have to check with Teddy just to make sure." Lily looked confused "Who's Teddy?" "Remus' son." I smiled at her, Their eyes all widened "Mooney has a son!?" Sirius and James yelled simultaneously. I nodded "With who?" Sirius asked. "Tonks, his wife." I smirked. "WHAT!!! THAT GIT MARRIED AND KNOCKED UP MY BABY COUSIN!!"

James looked a little confused. "Isn't that Andromeda's daughter?" I nodded. "Wow..." "Aww" Lily giggled "Teddy's not a werewolf, is he?" I shook my head, "No, he's not, he's addicted to chocolate like Remus is and he gets a little cranky on/around the full moon but he doesn't transform or anything." "Anyways, these are our children, our oldest is James Sirius he's 16 and was born July 4th 2002, Adrien Remus is 14 born January 30th2004-"

"He was born on my birthday!!?" Lily screamed in excitement We all laughed at her reaction "Yes he was, Anyway, Oliver Daniel is 12 born April 28th 2006, Lillian Minerva is 10 born February 28th 2008 and Violet Ginevra is 8 and born January 19th 2010." I said introducing each kid, motioning to each of them as I did so. James, Lily and Sirius started tearing up at the fact that we used their names (Lily, also at the fact  that two of them were redheads.) Hugs were exchanged and Lily kept fawning over the kids, it was cute. Everyone broke off into smaller groups, the adults were talking to the kids and they were telling them everything.

With James II and Sirius

"So, kiddo, what house are you in?" "Gryffindor." "Naturally." he laughed. "I don't know about that, I was almost put in Ravenclaw actually, Adrien is in Slytherin, and Oliver is in Ravenclaw, the girls obviously aren't in school yet."

"Well Ravenclaw makes senses given who your mother is but Slytherin? How did that happen?" Jame shrugged, "I don't know, he likes it though, Slytherin isn't the same as it used to be, there isn't too many mean people actually." "Ah, okay, you guys play quidditch?"

"Yeah! I was Chaser until the end of my 3rd year up until Teddy Graduated, since he was Seeker, Teddy was Captain as well." "Wait Moony's kid plays quidditch! Considering neither Remus nor Dora is good on a broom, that's surprising." James laughed "Yeah, well dad taught him, anyways, I'm captain now and Seeker, Adrien is Seeker for Slytherin and Oliver only plays at home but he's usually Chaser."

Hermione POV: 

James II and Sirius were talking about quidditch, Adrien and Regulus were talking about Slytherin stuff, I'm not even sure, Violet and Oliver were rambling to Lily I about something and Lily II was talking to James I about pranks and the twins joke shop.

It was so nice seeing them all intact, they should have been here to see the kids grow up, and Harry too for that matter. They'll get to soon enough at least; James and Lily especially really took a liking to the kids. I can't imagine what they're going though..You get killed by a dark wizard at 21, orphaning your 15 month old son, then coming back thinking your son is still a baby only to find out that he's 37 and married with five kids. Unknowingly to me then, Sirius was thinking the same thing.

Sirius' POV:

'This is amazing, I love seeing James and Lily bonding with their grandchildren. Harry has been through so much, it's hard to believe, he's grown up a lot.' I wonder what he looks like, James but 37? Or will he have taken on more of Lily's appearance? I'm just glad he has a family again.'

Hermione's POV: 

A few hours have past, and we should be getting home. "Alright guys, it's a little past lunch time, we should be headed back to the house, you four can stay with us as long as you want, Grimmauld Place is in living condition, nobody is there currently, and yes Sirius we did manage to get your mother off the wall." "WHOHOO!" he cheered doing a little dance,. "Where do you guys live?" James asked "Your childhood home, your parents' manor." "Wow, that place is huge!"

"I know, are you all okay with apperating?" They nodded and we went back to the manor. I gave them all a quick tour, (or as quick as possible since the manor is huge) they kids showed them their rooms and the rest of the house. Sirius actually took up his old bedroom here, it hasn't been touched since his arrest, aside from keeping the dust away, Regulus chose a spare room (there's plenty of those) across from Sirius'. James and Lily took up the second master bedroom (aka James' old room) on the 2nd floor, which was down the hall from Teddy's room. Sirius looked betrayed at the fact we had two cats.

"One is Teddy's and the other is Lily's." He wasn't buying it. however, he did like our dogs however. We had our own little mini zoo in the house it seemed. We have two owls, 3 dogs, two cats and a lizard...James wanted one. I have no idea. He originally wanted a snake but I'm sure you can imagine Harry's reaction to that, so we settled on a lizard. The day came and went, we all had fun playing quidditch, (Lily and I kept scores) the kids (and Sirius and James) played on the trampoline and we had a little pool party as well.

After dinner we all got ready for bed, and everyone went to their rooms for the night. I couldn't wait for Harry to come home.
