3 Weeks...

It took 3 weeks for everything to go to Hell in a handbasket.

After Bruce had left Gotham what seemed like for good and the chance of the city being redefined went with him. Aria visited Lucious in the Hosptial every day after the incident with Two-Face, but it seemed that no matter what Gotham just kept spiraling into madness, and crime had only risen no matter how hard Batgirl fought from sundown to sunrise.

Nightwing assisted her much to her dismay though he still was not fully on board with his sister risking her life for a city that had done nothing but cause her a lot of unnecessary pain and torture.

After three weeks straight of random thugs, the occasional villain here and there, and at least one breakout from Arkham or Blackgate it seemed like the biggest threat Batgirl would face had finally shown itself.

Batgirl stood on the rooftop of an old warehouse, Nightwing was beaten, bloody, and bruised and laid on his stomach breathing shallowly. And a few feet from him was the Red Hood.

"This doesn't concern you Batgirl." He hissed as he reloaded his two pistols and pointed one at her. Attacking swiftly she threw a smoke bomb and used the smoke to move, she took two batarangs and used them to disarm his weapons. Next, She grapples and kicked him in the chest.

He only slightly stumbled back before drawing a large hunting knife and tossing it from his left hand to his right.  "Wrong move."

Red Hood charged through the smoke and strikes Batgirl with the blade. She holds her leg in pain and she lowers at his figure.

"Stand down." He barks. She smirks at him before cartwheeling out of his next attack. She uses the slide to kick him knocking him off balance. Acting fast she takes a Batarang and cable wire and wraps it around his forearm. She tugs and it sends him down off the roof, he grabs the gargoyle and swings himself onto it. She throws a grenade up at her which she dodges but the blast sends her towards the nearby rooftop. Risen slowly from crashing into the ventilation system. She ducks just as bullets start flying towards her.

Batgirl slides under another vent and takes cover as the rain of bullets continues their assault. Scanning the roof she doesn't see another at first until she spots something. Red Hood walks towards her while still firing bullets at her.

She takes the small and places it on the vent underneath her and as soon as he steps on it she leaps away from it and presses the button on her makeshift belt which sends an electrical current throughout his body. Red Hood while being electrocuted shot the device stopping the electricity. 

She grapples towards the building across from the road dividing the two streets and she hears another grapple gun meaning Red Hood isn't far behind her. Not even halfway across her cable is cut and she starts to plummet before using the force of her fall to glide into the building. Coming at full speed she crashes onto the construction railings and rises just as he slams down on the platform and charges her. She blocked his kicks and punches and landed a few on him which he seems like his large body had just absorbed. 

"You're a fraud, your just a little girl playing dress-up in Daddy's closet." He kicks her in the stomach and she crashed into several cones and warning signs.

She spits blood onto the platform and stands up." And that may be true, but Daddy asked me to personally kick your sorry ass." He charges her at full speed and she grabs the railing and swings her body around in slow motion, he turns towards her as her kick from both legs sends him into the window with a large crash and widespread glass everywhere.
