Brief past summary: Some big jumps!!
Sky's parents were getting new jobs in California. So they moved away from their old house and she was not happy. It was after Christmas but before New years which meant they had a lot more things to move out. She had many friends back there and strong bonds she didn't know whether she would get again. She tried and tried to beg her parents to let her stay but nothing worked so she stayed in her room, locked away from the world until the move. 1 weeks later she had to pack up and leave her old life behind. She had already got all her bags in the car all she need to do was say goodbye to her friends.
"Bye Sky we'll miss you!" Her friend Eden whispered to her.
"Do you have to leave?" Gemma whined. Sky slowly nodded her head trying not to cry and hugged all of them once before running to the car. She opened the back seat door then looked back at her friend group.
"I'll miss you all!" She shouted with a little wave.
"So will we little ninja!" Riley shouted back. She smiled at the nickname thinking it was the last time she would hear it. With one last look, she smiled at her friends then stepped in the car and a single tear escaped her.
The car ride was painfully silent and Sky sat with her head against the window thinking of all the memories she will be leaving behind.
"Don't be to sad Sky, you'll make more friends at the new house. You can have a fresh start and meet new people who might be your lifetime friends." Her mother Niaomi encouraged her to cheer up her daughter but nothing worked. Her mother looked back at how sad her daughter was.
"Not likely.." she whispered back under her breath just loud enough for her mother to hear. Her parents sighed at her reply then continued with the journey. Sky closed her eyes as another tear fell from her cheek and fell asleep for the rest of the ride.
Once they arrive at the house, Sky's mum shook her shoulder to wake her up. "Honey we arrived. Wake up." She whispered. Sky stirred then slowly opened her eyes. She sat up and unbuckled. She looked up at the house opening the car door then slowly stepped out. Standing in front of her was a lovely white 2 story house. It had a nice light blue door and white windows. Sky slowly walked up the driveway and opened the front door. Maybe a new start is just what I need. she thought to herself trying to convince herself but she knew it wouldn't work. She then walked into the house and explored her new childhood home. It was the start of a new year and she had a new home. What could go wrong?
Her mother decided to greet the neighbours and she forced Sky to socialise and that is the same day she met the boys. The oldest was called Rocky (Samuel) who was 11 which was also Sky's age at the time, the middle child was called Colt (Jeffrey) who was 10 and the youngest was Tum Tum (Micheal) who was 5. She grew close with the three of them over time and they made her feel welcome and comfortable. They formed a strong bond and she had many sleepovers at theirs. Luckily they had a spare room for guests. They had met her parents, obviously, and in return she met theirs and their grandfather. Their parents started to become good friends as well which led to them hanging out a lot more. To be honest they were the only three people from school she would talk to outside of school. And the only three people she would fully trust with her life.
About 5 months after meeting each other Sky learnt a lot about the boys like how Tum Tum loved eating food. All of the boys play baseball which she ended up joining the team. And she learnt even the slightest detail like how Tum Tum has a timer for when the hot dog stand arrives at their games. She grew to love them so it was no surprise that she had found out they were ninjas in training. She wasn't as surprised as they thought she would be but that may be because she is a ninja in training her self. But sadly she had to stop due to the move. Her mother had told her when she was younger how Sky's grandfather used to be a ninja as well and that her mother agreed to let her follow in his foots steps. The sad thing was she has never met him, doesn't know his name or know what he looks like. So when she explained the situation to the boys they came up with a great idea.
