"how many fingers am i holding up" i heard billie ask in front of me. She has one last surprise for me so she put a blindfold over my eyes.

"uh.. 3?" i guessed

"okay come on" she said before laughing "oh i forgot you couldn't see"

"fuck you" i laughed "come help me"

She wrapped her arms around my waist from behind leading me out the door. I could hear us walking down the hallway and towards the stairs.

"billie i swear to god if i fall down these stairs" i threatened "no sex for a week"

i heard billie smack her lips with a chuckle "i'm not gonna let you fall, just walk slowly"

We slowly made our way to the bottom of the stairs and i felt billie pull away from me leaving me confused "billie where'd you go" i said trying to feel around to find her since it went silent.

"take off your blindfold" i heard her whisper in my ear out of no where making me jump.

"scary ass" billie laughed at me and i slapped her arm.

I slowly took off my blindfold and looked up until i heard a big pop making me cover myself thinking i just got shot or something.

"SURPRISE!" i jumped startled from the loud noise until i looked around seeing friends and some people from billies family. There was confetti in the air and a cake on the table that said 'happy 19th birthday Lei'

"billie.." i gasped "you did this?"

she just smiled at me widely and i jumped in her arms "thank you. no one's ever done anything like this for me on my birthday"

"you're welcome pretty girl" she hugged me tightly "now go say hi to your family"

I looked around seeing Jasmyn with her parents and i immediately ran to them first. I wrapped my arms around all three of them in a group hug.

"i missed you guys" i pouted

"look at you getting all grown" jasmyns mom celeste awed "you look just like your mother"

i smiled widely at that.

"i miss when you and jas were little babies" her dad then said hugging me tighter. "is cameron here? i haven't seen him in forever"

"i'm pretty sure he's not comi-"

"i'm here" i heard a deep voice from behind me. I turned around being met with my brother that i haven't seen in 3 weeks. I didn't know how to react to seeing him so i just stared at him while he greeted jasmyns parents.

I turned to look back at jasmyn and she had a nervous smile on her face before i turned to look back at him.

"Lei can we talk?" Cameron asked quietly turning to me. I nodded my head slowly before following him to billies staircase while everyone was in their own conversations. As we were walking my eyes caught billies and she gave me a soft smile assuring me everything will be fine.

We sat on the staircase in silence until he spoke up.

"First, i wanna apologize for how i acted towards you" he said looking up at me "it's just that you're my little sis and i always want to protect you"

i stared at him waiting for him to continue.

"billie used to sleep around a lot and i didn't know if she was serious about you or if you were just another fuck to her" he said "i didn't wanna watch you go through another heartbreak like how you did with Myles"

"but since i realized she hasn't been with girls and you've been staying with her this whole time i can tell she serious about you" he continued "especially for throwing this party"
