Em, I just wanted to do this because it's been sitting in my drafts since like 2013 and I decided that hey, a few people proofread it and said it was good so maybe I should just post it. But yeah. Really hope anyone who reads it enjoys it because I worked hard on it and I really liked it myself but whatever.

You slip on your mid-thigh length black dress and walk out of the bathroom.

"Could you zip this up please?" You ask Calum as you stand in front of him.

"Sure babe." Calum stands up and slowly zips up the back of your dress. You turn around and run your hands down his chest.

"You did your tie all wrong, Calum. You to pull his part over this or else your knot will look all wonky," you say as you undo the tie and restart it.

"I did that! I thought the knot looked pretty good."

"Yet you got it all wrong," you mumble under your breath.

"Well, Y/N, if this is what I get for trying..."

You finish fixing Calum's tie and there is a noticeable improvement.

"But this is better," Calum laughs.

You two both put on your shoes and walked dowstairs to wait for the rest of the boys.

"So you excited?" Asked your boyfriend.

You thought about it. So many people would be there, including the boy's fans.

The fans.

The fans didn't particularly appreciate you dating Calum, and thought you were using him for the fame when in all honesty your reason was quite the opposite.

You hated all the attention you were receiving and you just loved to be around Calum. He was sweet, caring, funny, supportive, and so adorable. No matter what you did, many of the fans didn't believe you.

There were a few who supported your and Calum's relationship, but not enough to defend against the haters.

"I guess I'm a bit excited," you lied.

"I hear Will Smith will be there," Calum started excitedly, ready to continue his rant when Luke, Ashton, and Michael tumbled down the stairs.

"We're ready," said Michael.

Luke eyed you down and smirked. "Well you look stunning, Y/N." Calum shot him a glare. "And Calum is lucky to have you as his boyfriend," he finished with a sigh, his smile quickly fading.

You smile at him. "Thanks Luke. You're looking like quite the charmer yourself. All of you are, actually."

Ashton blushed and Michael looked down. "I think it's time to go," says Calum. He grabbed your hand and you all walked out the door.

One by one, everyone steps into the limo parked outside of the shared flat.

You laugh and smile throughout the hour long drive. Afterwards, you all step out the car with Calum by your side.

Instantly you are blinded by bright, flashing lights. You grab hold of Calum's hand and squeeze it tightly.

"Remember to breath, okay babe," says Calum over the noise and screams of the fans.

You nodded and looked straight ahead. You and Calum walk forward and pose for pictures, and already rude and hurtful comments are being thrown at you. You hoped Calum didn't hear them, and you tried to keep smiling.
