part 2: pool games

I was in my hotel room getting woken up by both Rudy and Chase spraying water all over me.
"Guys shut up I'm trying to sleep." I groan my hair all messy as I tuck my head into the pillow.

"Dude it's 3 am." Rudy laughs as they both start hysterically laughing almost falling to the floor.
I then notice there crimson red eyes and laughing expressions and noticed that of course they were high.
At 3 am.

"We have to meet that um new girl today." Rudy happens to make out before they both sit at the edge of my bed.

"Cool I already know." I say trying to remember her photo, until I realised one was never shown to me.

"So your type." Chase snickers at me as I roll my eyes going back to bed, until I realised there was no hope of them leaving.
I took out my favourite book "East Of Eaden" until they got bored and left
Rough night.

Astrid

I yawned arriving of the plane, holding a luggage and my small backpack filled with snacks and books.

"Let me take those for you." A voice says wearing a dark suit and takes my luggage's under my name with a huge black limo.
"Woah." I thought my jaw dropping as someone peeks out.

"Astrid!" Maddy pops out of the van engulfing me in a hug as I do the same.
"Maddy! Omg it's like 3 am. What are you doing here?" I smile as we hop inside, the light flickering on.

"Came to suprise you! But there's something wrong with the rooms and you have to share one with someone else." She says as I think, not even knowing with option would be best.

"You could stay with um Madison. She's tidy and chill. Or um Rudy but he will wake you up for sure, I'm with Chase and the rest only have one bed in their room. So Um drew?" Maddy suggests as I try to wrap my mind around the fact that I will be sleeping in the same room as one of these people.

"But won't drew be you know wierded out? Like with a girl in his room?" I ask as Maddy shakes her head.

"Prob not but maybe stay with Madison ?" She suggests as I nod and we patiently wait to arrive.

I then get woken up at 8 am to the sound of my alarm for a breakfeast buffet.
my stupid shower didn't work leading to me knocking on someone else's door.
My hair messy and in only sweatpants.

I open the door to someone I don't recognise and we almost bump face first into each other only a inch away.

"I thought this was Madison's room sorry." I stutter looking at the girls pleasing face.

"It is I'm Astrid I'm new." She smiles showing perfect straight teeth surrounded by large soft looking lips. I couldn't help but notice I guess.

"Ohhh I yes, I heard about you uh sorry to disturb you." I said very awkwardly leaning at the side of the door as she laughed at me.
Do you think she could tell I was awkward?

"No problem it should be fine." She smiles trying to look away from my body without a top, as I look away from her short top on.
Silence, until she spoke.

"It's so great to meet you, you did so great in the first season." She smiled as I stood up straight her looking slightly higher at me from the height difference.

"Thank you so much, I really appreciate it but don't worry I'm nothing like Rafe." I laugh a little, the tension evaporating but as we started to get into a interesting conversation Madison came out the shower.
"Sorry to interrupt." She laughed as she knew I was flirting just a little bit.
Astrid sat on the bed and Madison whispered to me before I showered, "honestly you flirt."
"I wasn't." I denied taking a look at the new girl engulfed in a book before I hopped in.

After my encounter with Drew I thought he was really sweet, he had changed his hair to a messy sort of middle part.
A huge improvement from before.

"Was that your first time meeting drew?" Madison asks nudging me with a smile.
"Yeah he's nice." I smile putting down my book and my hair into a ponytail.

"Yes especially to you." Madison laughs at me, as I look confused.
"I know what you're thinking I don't like like him you know I mean we just met." I justify as she laughs meeting up with her girlfriend Mariah who waves at me.
Everyone was super friendly, but Drew was a mix of that and slightly awkward.

We went down to breakfeast as I met everyone else.
"Hey!" JD exclaimed as he gave me a hug with a friendly smile.
The rest of the cast came and we all sat down laughing and playing games.
"Truth or dare?" Chase questions as we all nod.

"Astrid truth or dare?" Maddy asks sitting next to me, as I reply with truth.

"Who's the most attractive person here?" She questions as everyone looks around, and I do the same.
I then notice what my answer would be, but I couldn't say it with Madison's suspicion.
I look at Drew sitting next to me and see his face go slightly red looking at his food.

I mean yes he was pretty hot but I couldn't just say that right.
"Um i don't know." I laugh keeping eye contact away from Drew as I feel his on mine.
"You have to" Maddy forces me chuckling.
"Okay Drew then." I say looking towards him as a small smile appears on his face.

"Ooooo." Chase and Rudy both laugh at Drews red face as we continue to play.
It ends up in far too many eggs and sausages in my system until we go outside and hang out by the pool.

We spent the day playing by the pool and eating random snacks, and I ended up talking to Drew most of the time.
"Hey I saw what you were reading." He said shyly turning over my book.
"East of Eden my favourite." I laugh as he stares at my eyes, with my stare awkwardly looking at the sky.

"Good taste huh?" He chuckles sitting closer to me as we go through some of our favourite parts as everyone starts to go up to there rooms.
"Hey wanna come up to mine?"
"Sure." I reply as we share more and more with me realising we had more in common than I thought...
