You thought I was going to let you leave me?
I fucking love you Aleah. I didn't want to do this.
But I couldn't let you leave me. I couldn't.
Fuck! I paced the floor near Aleah's unconscious body unsure of what I was going to do next. It was never supposed to get this far. I've once again let my anger get the best of me. And this time towards the one person I promised myself I would never hurt. Fuck! What if I've killed her, she hasn't moved in over 2 hours. "Please move..." I muttered as I crouched down in front of her. Slowly inching my hand out towards her face I could feel the warmth of her breath hit the tips of my fingers. "Leah I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry." Looking around the garage I found a coffee can with rain water inside and a cloth next to it. Worried that her cuts might become infected I thoroughly cleaned them before securing clean cloths around them both.
I knew my mom would be calling soon but there was no way I could leave Leah alone. I had to know if she was alright first. "Ch-ch-chris."
"I'm right here baby." I cooed into her ear, soothingly running my fingers through her hair. Soft whimpers emitted from her lips causing me to tense up. I have no idea how I'm going to get out of this. "W-w-why? Why C-c-chris?"
Releasing a sigh I replied, "I panicked. I was angry. I didn't want you to leave me." That is the honest to God truth and I still feel that way. I am torn between doing what's right which means letting Leah go and possibly loosing her for good and battling this demon that's telling me this is where she belongs...with me. For awhile she said nothing, her face remained hidden behind her mangled hair as I sat staring at her. "Are the cuffs to tight?" As expected she didn't respond. I couldn't deal with her crying anymore so I stood to my feet ready to go home for the night. "I'll be back tomorrow."
"Wh-what?" Her head shot up in a panic. "Y-y-y-you can't l-l-leave me here!"
"I'll be back tomo-"
"NO! Let me go Chris--please." Briefly I stared into her terror-stricken eyes before shaking my head no. "I can't do that. You belong to me now." The words came flying from my mouth on there own. I was only digging a bigger ditch for myself but I couldn't stop. "I don't know exactly what I'm going to do with you but I know I can't keep you here. Eventually the police are going to get involved. I already have them breathing down my neck about Jayson--" My eyes found hers as I said Jayson's name.
"D-did you do it?" She asked softly. There was no longer a reason to deny it. If I was capable of kidnapping her I'm sure it's obvious that I could kill someone. My silence must have given her the answer she was looking for because she began to scream at the top of her lungs. Scared that someone might hear I frantically searched around the garage for something to place over her mouth. When I found the duct tape in a nearby corner I dragged Leah by her hair to the other side of the room and got on top of her. "SHUT UP! SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Disobeying my command Leah continued to scream. Grabbing the tape I placed it on her right cheek and brought it all the way around her head a few times until she could no longer make a sound. "You're making this harder than it has to be!. I kissed her lips through the tape then stood to my feet.
"Try to get some sleep." I headed towards the door refusing to look back at her. I have to figure out what I'm going to do and fast.
----
2 days later
"That was the last person Leah has been in contact with this month." Marisol mumbled sadly. "I don't understand why Leah would just up and "run away" I don't care what the police said. I know my best friend." Josh looked over at me waiting for me to speak on it which I never did. Since Leah's "disappearance" 2 days ago I've been playing the role of the distraught boyfriend very well. I almost had my damn self fooled. "Were you guys having problems in your relationship?"
I shook my head no, "We were fine. At least I thought we were."
"Come on y'all I'm sure Leah's going to show up. She's probably taking Jayson's death hard and needed some time to herself." Hearing Josh say that made my blood boil. Fuck that nigga, I hope his ass rotting in hell. A small smile formed on my lips at the thought of what I did to him months ago. "Whatchu over there smiling about?"
"Oh...just a memory about Leah. I swear I miss that girl so much." I let a few tears drop from my eyes for added effect. Marisol came around to the sofa I was sitting on and hugged me.
"Don't worry Chris the police are going to find her, if they don't I will. I promise." She hugged me tighter as I continued to ramble on about how much I missed her. After leaving Marisol's house and checking up on the Murphy's I headed to Thatcher woods to check on Leah. After she bit me the other day I didn't check on her yesterday. Can you believe I was kind of enough to bring her food and she attacks me? If I wasn't in such a good mood right now I wouldn't be here.
Pushing the door open it made a loud creaking sound, which startled Leah. Once she saw it was me she turned her face back towards the wall. I guess she's still mad. Sliding down the wall next to her I ran my fingers through her hair. "Are you hungry?" She jerked her head away from me causing me to sigh. "It doesn't have to be this complicated Aleah." I gritted angrily, flipping her over onto her back I positioned myself between her legs reaching for the switchblade in my back pocket.
When it came into view I swear I could hear her heartbeat increase. That same fear I saw in my mother's eyes and Jayson's eyes that night I killed him was now in Leah's, and just like with them it excited me. "I'm going to remove the tape from your mouth. Are you going to scream?" I asked, placing the point of the blade into her mylohyoid. "Are you going to bite me?" She once again shook her head no and I smiled. "Good."
Once the tape was removed from her mouth I placed my lips over hers giving her the sweetest kiss. What surprised me was when she kissed me back. She had completely fucked with my head. This is the girl that I say I love....So what the hell am I doing?
