Virgil usually wasn't one to take things from the woods, but when he saw some beautiful yellowish green flowers and he couldn't resist. He hadn't realized though that the flowers were surrounding a circle of mushrooms. When he stepped into them he found himself in an unknown place. The woods were more overgrown and there looked to be little houses in the tree stumps. He went to move but stumbled back into something hard. Limbs slyly slipped around his stomach and held him close. "Awe a little human stumbled into my little ring~ You're so cute, I may just have to keep ya~" The voice was smooth and gentle, but held some kind of alluring tone to it. Virgil flinched and tried to get away from the arms.

"W-What?? Who are you?? What do you mean? What ring?" Virgil was shaking and trying to back away from the mysterious man but they wouldn't let him go. The other leaned down and ran a smooth hand down Virgil's cheek, smiling softly at the humans squirm.

"You stepping into my fairy ring darling, how else would you have gotten here?" He finally let go of Virgil but grabbed his wrist and looked the human over. "Now, what's your name darling? Surely you don't want some silly nickname." He smirked as Virgil shook some. He didn't know this man, didn't know where he was, and for all he knew this man could kill him. So, this being his logic, he did the only thing he could.

"M-My name is Virgil!" He didn't mean to yell, but he was terrified, his fears hadn't been eased though. The mysterious man smirked and gently lifted Virgil's face to look up to him. His eyes filled with a new kind of curiosity. One that Virgil had only ever seen in the manipulative eyes of his former family. This was what unsettled his mind and made him fear the worst.

"You may call me Deceit~ Now then Virgil," his name slipped off of Deceit's tongue like gold, as if the man had been saying it his whole life. Virgil's legs started to become weak, as if hearing his name made him lose control of his whole body. Deceit hummed softly. "You shall come home with me~ And you shall be mine~" Virgil nodded after a few minutes, unable to make himself do anything but the man requested. He racked his brain for anything that may hep him figure out what was going on. Then it finally clicked. The tall and slim form, the voice as smooth as silk, and the overwhelming need to obey as soon as his name was given out. This was a fae, and Virgil was now nothing more than a plaything to him.

Deceit, content with his human pet, took Virgil to his home and got him settled. He gave Virgil some food, which made him unable to leave the fae's realm of living. Luckily enough for him the food would not deter him from human food and he would not end up starving to death, but he was stuck now. Virgil belonged to Deceit and as time moved on the human came to actually like living with the fae. After a few years he learned Deceits true name was Janus, but Virgil never once used that to free himself, he stayed content with Janus. Janus was a kind fae to the human, which lead to a calm and happy life for Virgil.
