Chapter 7: blood adoption

They were in London, and Harry showed him where to go, to Owen he couldn't see it, but he could tell Harry could, so he said nothing.

"Ah, Mr Potter, so glad to see you, and who is this with you?" asked the barkeeper.

"This is my uncle, Owen, we need to go to Diagon Alley, to Gringotts." Harry told him.

"Ah, yes." he said, and they went to a brick wall where he tap on it, and the wall open up.

"Welcome, Uncle Owen, to Diagon Alley!" said Harry, Owen swallowed as they walk down to Gringotts."Ah, Mr Potter, I have received your letter about the blood adoption, and is this who will adopt you as his own?" Asked a goblin.

"Yes, this is my uncle Owen, sir." Said Harry. "And you, sir, are willing to take Mr Harry James Potter as your own?" asked the Goblin. "yes, sir. love the kid too much that I can't even say no." said Owen.

"Very well. Do you have Mr Potter's key to his vault?" asked the Goblin. "key, key? bud, what key?" Asked Owen, frown.

"Oh, Hagrid had my key last summer." said Harry. "Very well, Mr Potter. follow me." The goblin told them.

They did to a small room, it was huge though.Was this the part where the mask dude with a chain saw shows up and hacks them all to death?

"Finger, Mr Potter." he said.

he let him pick his finger and he took the blood and writing came onto the paper.

Owen looked down to Harry to see tears in his green eyes. "why?" he asked as he took off his glasses and rub his eyes. Owen wrap an arm around him as he rocking him gentle, running a hand over his hair, hoping to comfort him.

"It's okay, buddy. I'm here, shh. I got ya." he whispered.

Now he has to protect Harry from Dumbledore as much as he can, but the question remains, how?

"Mr Potter, I know you've had a shock, but do you wish to continue?" Asked the Goblin kindly. "yes, sir." he said sniffling.

"Mr Grady, you're turn, please." Said the goblin, he nod and gave his blood."now, Mr Potter, will you lie down so we can perform the ritual, Mr Grady, remain outside while we do the blood adoption ritual and the magical block ritual." said the Goblin.

"sure, i'll be right outside, buddy." he said and hug him. "soon,you're going to have a dad again." he said and ruffle his hair.

It was two hours later when the Goblin came to him. "The rituals are successful, Mr Grady. He will wake soon and then we'll talk more." said the goblin.he nod.

Harry was now lying on the bed, he study his sleeping face, his hair was dark brown, rather than jet black, it was a bit neater but still messy,

"hey, buddy." he said taking his hand. he groan and woke up, he still has emerald eyes, which is awesome, he doesn't think his eyes would look good on him.

"I can see?" he asked. "what? that's awesome! but all in seriousness, how ya feeling?" he said.

"tired....why would Dumbledore do that?" he asked and Owen sighed."I don't know, buddy. seriously, i'm not going to lie to ya, but i'm planning to send the girls with you to Hogwarts." he told him, and that made him smile."That's probably a bad idea." he told him. "You're right, probably is." he told him stoking his hair gentle.

"Can I sit up?" he asked.

"sure, bud." he told him and helped him up.

then a Goblin came in. "thank you." whispered Harry. "of course, we have removed all the spells and potions that were blocking your powers. Would you like a name change?" he asked.

"Just my last name." he said, Owen nod."Harry James Grady it is." he said, and then nod. "good day, you still have the Potter vaults since Mr James Potter made you his heir." he told him, and Harry nod.

"Come on, bud. time to go home." said Owen, Harry needed some R&R.

so they did, Harry got better in his studies, and he spent everyday with Owen and the girls.But however one day, a certain accident at the whole park change that.
