I grabbed his arm to steady myself. I had finally taken the boot off, my foot felt free. I looked at Niall shooting him a warm smile. He smiled back but it faded as he watched my feet. He was so protective!
"I got a new job." His eyes didn't leave my feet as I spoke.
"Mmm." He nodded slightly.
"At the gym." I finished and glanced at my feet.
"What?" His grip on my arm almost disappeared as his eyes dragged up. He spoke in somewhat anger.
"What?" I asked innocently. "What's wrong with getting a job at the gym?"
"Are you stupid? Those guys will be all over you!" He exclaimed throwing his hands into the air.
"You'll be there to protect me won't you?" I asked.
"I'll be training.." He paused before speaking and his voice died away a little at the end.
"You'll be training." I glared and shoved his shoulders back. He took a step backwards and looked at me in dismay. "You'll be training!" I screamed out in anger and pushed him again. He was surprised at my anger I could tell. I stood in front of him- a ways away.
I was pissed.
I wanted to slap him.
Hard.
"What's wrong with training? Huh? You can get a job there why can't I train?" He paused as he yelled back in protest. "I won't be there to protect you huh!? Ill be busy working out and listening to music! My wound has healed and I'm having a fight-" he stopped.
I glared at him harder. "You didn't tell me." I whispered in anger. "Against who." I demanded.
"That's none-"
"Against who!?" I screamed.
"David." He replied glancing at his hands.
"Mm." I growled in anger. I turned on my heel sharply and stalked out of the bedroom and down the hall. I turned into the kitchen and opened the freezer door. I grabbed the container of ice cream and stalked into the living room. I paused at the hall as Niall stood watching me. I continued and flopped onto the couch. I flicked on the tv quietly and sat in my pj's as the movie played.
"Keeley.."
"Shut up." I snapped quietly. I ate the ice cream slowly, carefully licking it off the spoon.
"Keeley."
"What!?" I screamed staring at him.
"Stop it."
"No! You stop it! You keep doing all this stuff and keeping it from me! You lie and act like its nothing! I'm done! I'm tired of it Niall! Why can't you tell the truth!?" My voice quieted towards the end as he stepped closer and knelt in front of the couch.
"Because I'm planning something for you, but you can't know." He reached up and tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. "It's a secret because its a surprise. About the other stuff-"
"I don't care." I mumbled looking back at the tv. "I don't care about the other stuff. I just didn't want you talking to other women."
"I would never!" He gaped and stood up. My eyes followed his body as I stared at him in the eyes. He looked down at me and glared. "I'm going out tonight with the guys. Invite your girl friends I don't care but I need some guy time." He turned and walked out of the room.
Ouch. But I did kinda deserve it. Fine. I won't call my girl friends but I'll party.

He turned and closed the door behind him and made his way to the car. I listened to him drive off. He was gonna have a guys night, I was gonna have a me night. I turned to my right and cranked the stereo way up. It was on 99.1. I danced around as the song played. I went and changed into short shorts and a tight black t-shirt for some different pj's. I grinned and turned the stereo up louder. The speakers in the other rooms around the flat spoke sweet music to me.
