I grip the hem of my shirt as I tip-toed into my bathroom in my bedroom. As I quietly enter my bathroom I shut the door. Tearing my shirt up I stare at the bruises all over my tanned skin.
Purple splotches lay here and there as I blink. My finger tips slowly graze over each of my bruises making me wince each time. I began to gasp for air as I slowly apply pressure to each dark spot.
My friends walk up to my front door outside. I grab my phone and quickly text them; "Will be down in a sec x"
I walked into my room and open the drawers of my dresser. I slip into my skinny jeans and slip on a tight-ish red shirt. My phone buzzed as I reached for it. Amy's name flashes onto the screen. Amy; "Take your time... Party dont start for another 30min. The boys are getting anxious! x.x -Amy x"
I grinned at my phone and brushed my hair. My brown-blonde mix of hair looked good on me even though I though I looked hideous. I put no make up on, I didn't own any.
Scooping up my duct tape wallet and phone I ran outside. Amy, Jake, Chris, and Zara waited for me outside. I grinned as they all grinned at me. I locked the door behind me and then took my place with the girls as the boys walked ahead.
"So, Kee, any guys yet?" Zara glanced over at me. She had been a life long friend of mine. I had several other scattered across the state, but we never really visited.
"Nope." I answered as we turned a corner.
Amy grinned, I knew she was up to something. "The party! You can hook up with someone there!" She gripped my forearm. "Will you try? For Zara and I?"
Zara nodded and looked at me, their green eyes softening as they pleaded. "Alright I'll try." I smiled as we walked up the front steps to the large house. The boys had already knocked on the door as us girls walked up.
Miley answered the door and smiles. "Yay! The life of the party has arrived!!" We all laughed as we stepped inside. Zara gave Miley a hug as did Amy. I waited till they walked off to hug my friend.
"How's Michael?" The question slipped over my lips.
Miley looked at her hands. "Better..." Her voice somewhat trailed off.
"I'll talk to you later Miley. The girls want me to hook up with a guy." I grinned and winked before walking through the crowd. Music roared through the house as I stepped up to the bar.
"What can I get you Keeley?" Chase smiled at me.
"Pain killers, a boyfriend, oh and a small glass of Mug Root Beer."
Chase laughed. "I can get you the last thing but the other two I can't sorry."
I shrugged. "I can't either." We laughed as he handed me a cup of pop. "Thanks Chase." We nodded at each other as I walked towards the dance floor. I set my drink down and watched people dance. I noticed a brunette about my height start to walk towards me. I grinned and fixed my shirt before he stopped and turned to walk away.
Dumbfounded I watched the guy walk away only to have a hand grab my left wrist softly and lead to me the middle of the dance floor.
I looked up into deep blue eyes with a hint of green. He smiled at me and grabbed my other hand. The song turned to a slow song. My hand floated to his shoulder as his slipped to my waist. At first I couldn't think past his blue eyes but soon found myself talking to him.
"What's your name?" He asked in a deep voice.
I stopped, unsure what to say. "Uh..." I stopped as I heard Zara behind me call my name.
He grinned slightly. "Keeley." He looked into my own blue eyes as we slowly danced together.
"Who are you?" I asked him afraid of what he might say.
"Niall." He answered.
Niall. Where had I heard that name? I shrugged it away as we finished our dance and I walked to Zara.
"What Zara?" I softly snapped at her.
She recoiled slightly. "Who was that?"
I shrugged watching his blonde quiff travel through the crowd.
I smiled at Zara. "You go dance. I'm gonna stay here. Jake deserves to dance with his girlfriend."
She grinned from ear to ear. "Thank you Keeley!! Thank you!" She turned and ran to the dance floor and soon disappeared with Jake on the floor.

It had been a long while. I just sat paying Chase as he gave me drink after drink. I had slowly started drinking alcohol and felt a little tipsy.
I looked up to see my friends smile at me. "Ready to go home?" Zara asked.
I shook my head. "Go without me." The girls nodded and led their semi drunk boyfriends out the door. I slowly stood but stumbled, falling into someone's arms. I immediately stood up and turned to him.
"I'm so sorry! I fell..." My voice trailed off a I looked into the boy's blue eyes.
He grinned. "It's alright." He grabbed my arm just under my armpit and held me up. "Are you alright?"
I shook my head and held my forehead. "I have a killer headache and I.. I.." I stopped unsure of what to say.
The boy nodded and slowly walked to the door. He opened it and led me outside. I wiggled a little trying to escape his grasp.
He laughed slightly and continued walking. "You're going to fall over if I let go."
I shook my head and planted my feet in the in the sidewalk. "Let me go." I demanded.
He shook his head and continued to drag me. I yelped as something hit my toe. "Where are we going!?" I demanded.
"My flat."
I stopped. "I don't even know who you are-" I stopped short. He was Niall. He was quiet but packed a punch and could fight well. He was tough. Mean. Scary. Dangerous.
He stopped, looking at me. "Yes you do. Now come on. I won't let you get sick from the cold."
I opened my mouth to speak but nothing came out. Niall helped me walk to his flat. As we entered I couldn't help but look around. His walls were white in the hallway. I stumbled down the hall and stopped at a doorway to my left. His living room was clean, a black leather couch against the wall facing a flat screen tv. I looked to my right and saw his huge kitchen.
I jumped as he grabbed my arm again and helped me to the bathroom in his bedroom. He pushed me into the tub and turned the cold water on. I shivered as my clothes became drenched from the shower. "Niall!!!" I screamed.
His head popped into the doorway. "Yes, Love?" He blinked and smiled
"Turn the water off! I'm freezing!" I snapped at him.
He laughed and shook his head. "Not until the alcohol wears off." He turned to leave but I screamed.
"Niall!" I sobbed, tears streaming down my cheeks. "Please turn the water off. I'm freezing. The alcohol has worn off." I slightly slurred only making him laugh more.
"Yes. Ok." He walked over and turned off the water but left me in the tub. He turned and walked off into the bedroom and what sounded like the kitchen.
I stood but slipped and hit my head, my vision going dark.
