DATE: 2038, NOVEMBER 5TH
LOCATION: DETROIT POLICE DEPARTMENT
The fall breeze cooled down the police department. It had been hot these past couple of days and today was marked down as one of the only breezy days in Detroit. The DPD was filled with all of its Officers, Lieutenants, and...wait a second is that an android?
Alicia was finishing up a report she needed to hand in on the importance of focus. She has been having...issues with drinking. At least she's making friends. Alicia and Lieutenant Anderson - Hank - had been good friends ever since the connection between the love between "all you can take" whiskey shot night and the burning hate towards androids. Despite her hate for androids, Alicia still knew that she had to be on her "best behaviour" at work, Androids or no Androids. But of course she had her reasons every once in a while to hate them.

BACKSTORY REFRESH
Alicia is a 28 (and ½ ) year old alcoholic who has been working in the DPD for six years starting with homicides with her partner, Lieutenant Anderson. She and Hank started as the youngest Lts. in Detroit, and that has passed down to Alicia. "Twenty [beep]ing three!" Fowler laughed when he announced Alicia's promotion. It was around a month or two ago when androids started to go berserk or what people would call: Deviant. Of course if she was not invited to work in the DPD for the homicides, Alicia would have never met her boyfriend.
................................................................................................................................
Standing up, Lieutenant Douglas - Alicia - went over to her boyfriend's desk, Detective Gavin Reed. "Chinese or Pizza?" She asked him, sitting herself on his desk. "Can't. I have an assignment tonight." The Detective said, showing no expression. "C'mon. We can eat out after your 'assignment.'" The female detective said. "I can't Alicia." Gavin said sternly. "Fine, I'll go get some drinks then..." The Lieutenant said walking away. "Love you!" The Detective said as the Lieutenant walked away, still making no eye contact.
Alicia pulled out her cell phone and called to see where Lieutenant was that night, Jimmy's Bar. "Ok, see you in about ten minutes....alright...buy me a beer....bye". ................................................................................................................................
"How's your night Anderson?" The Lieutenant said as she sat down on the bar stool next to Hank. As she watched the basketball game, there was a sudden commotion. "Nevermind then.." she muttered. An android walked into the bar causing everyone to get upset - it was an android free zone after all. "Hank, don't look now..." She said taking a long sip from her beer bottle. "Hello, Lieutenants...My name is Connor, I am the android sent by cyberlife. Captain Fowler has assigned you to a case involving an android, and I am here to assist-" "[beep] off!" Hank cursed. "C'mon let's hear what he has to say..." The female Lieutenant said, nudging Hank. "Carlos Ortiz was found dead and Captain Fowler has assigned us to this case." the android continued. Alicia looked at Lieutenant, who was now holding up his middle finger to the machine. She then joked to the Lieutenant: "You know where you can stick your case?". Connor then realistically replied, "No. Where?". Alicia rolled her eyes and took a big inhale of her cigarette. "No smoking Alicia. How many times have I had to tell you?" The bartender/owner Jimmy said, wiping a cup. Connor then calmly said, "..I'll..just wait outside.". Lieutenant Anderson took one look at how Alicia was watching Connor walk away and said: "Did you say Homicide?"
................................................................................................................................
As both Lieutenant Anderson and Lieutenant Douglas opened up their car doors to walk to the crime scene, Lieutenant pointed his finger and told the machine to stay put. Of course the android didn't listen.
"Hank? I didn't think you were going to make it. Alicia, nice to see you..." Ben Collins said as he looked over his clipboard. "So Hank....got yourself an android?" The officer said under his breath. "Ha ha very funny." Hank said sarcastically. "Oh and by the way, take a deep breath of air if you want to get through this case..." Officer Collins added as he stepped halfway between the house door and the cold outside. Somehow, it started to rain, even with the 70℉ weather from earlier that day.
As both lieutenants smelt the disturbing smell of the rotting corpse throughout the house, Detective Collins explained what the suspects and officers had said they saw and did. "...locked from the inside...no signs of burglary....kitchen knife....I'm going to go get some fresh air....have fun!" Lieutenant Douglas started to run a diagnosis of what she was seeing, but nothing like the android detective's diagnosis. "ArgGh JESUS! WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING?" Lieutenant Anderson shrieked. "I am analyzing blood. I can check DNA samples in real time. I am sorry, I should've warned you." Connor said, removing his fingers full of the blood from the kitchen knife from his mouth. "...EgH Just don't put any more evidence in your mouth." Lieutenant stated. "Got it." It replied. Alicia then started walking towards a bedside table loaded with red ice. "Looks like our friend Carlos liked to party!" Lieutenant joked.
................................................................................................................................
Five minutes passed and both of the Lieutenants were tired and ready to head out. Just then the android came from the bathroom, creeped onto a wooden chair that was taken from the kitchen, and slipped right into the basement. "What the-" The Lieutenant Douglas said under her breath, turning the corner to see just half of the android's body while he hoisted himself up to the basement. Alicia looked left and right before following the machine. It was dark. Quiet. All you heard was the six footsteps of all of those in the basement
................................................................................................................................
"I-I was just defending myself..." the Deviant android stuttered. "Please....Don't tell them..." it continued. Just as the Lieutenant silently cursed under her breath she hid behind a pile of boxes to keep herself out of the confrontation. "IT'S HERE LIEUTENANT!" Connor yelled, still looking at the deviant. "Interesting..." Alicia thought as she crept out of the basement. "Very interesting...alright time for a beer."
