Dear Caesar,

What you are describing to me is the very description of hell. I don't even have the words to share with you even a little bit of my new lifestyle since you've been gone.

I would really like to be with you, on the last line to support you in your recovery. I hope the wound and your wound on your foot heal quickly and that you won't lose your foot, that would be a shame.

My new little habit at home boils down to staying up late, picking up the mail if there is any, getting ready to eat or going to dinner with my mother, my father having also left for the war, then listening the radio all day hoping not to hear any bad news.

I also miss you a lot Caesar... Caressing your disheveled blond hair, getting lost again and again in your emerald eyes, seeing you laugh and smile with all your teeth, being able to hug you for seconds, minutes or even hours are the things I want the most right now.

For my part, I will admit that you shed a few tears while reading your letter which described all the atrocities that you suffered at the front, in the front line or in the second line. I dream day and night of being by your side again. Just to be able to see you or even see you would make me smile.
