Chapter 5- I Can't Accept It Easily as I Do All The Time

Yashiro woke up with her eyes red from crying. Her mother was worried so she asked her what happened and as usual, Yashiro made a fake smile and said that everything's fine. Her mother didn't believe that but she ignore it and gave her breakfast. Yashiro took it and left heading to school (she's already changed okay) early since she's on morning duty today. Yashiro quickly head to the classroom and guess what who's her partner on duty today. Yep, it's none other than Akira. Unfortunate luck for Yashiro Nene. Being alone with the girl who stole your beloved, she deeply inside don't wanna see her but she hid it perfectly. Akira greeted her happily, and Yashiro greeted her back with a plain face. Akira didn't mind it and continued with her job. 

"So..... How you'd been doing lately?" Yashiro stopped, and stood silent for a while then finally spoke, "What do you mean?" pretending that nothing was bothering her all day. "Well, you've been gloomy all these days that I kinda wonder what has happened to you? Is something wrong?" Akira said worried and Yashiro replied, "It's probably nothing Akira. Just that my crush rejected me when I confessed to him. And like always, they don't date me because if my horrible radish legs" Yashiro said that annoyed and Akira felt sorry for her. "Is that true? Fuck those guys, they're idiots! They don't deserve you" Akira said angrily, comforting Yashiro but Yashiro said with a smile, "Thanks but I'm used to it. Besides, that's what I wished for Hanako-kun anyway, to help me with my confession." "Oh really?" "Yeah. But it failed since Minamoto-senpai said to me that he doesn't like me so it's hard to recover, sorry about that Akira." "I-It's fine Yashiro! What are friends for! Also, did he say anything about your legs?" "Oh no he did not really! He just said, he's in love with someone else that's all. He just rejected me politely." "Wow, he's such a gentleman isn't he?" "Now now,  remember you have a boyfriend Akira." "I know" Akira giggled and to be honest to Yashiro, it's nice being friends with her even though she felt hurt seeing her with Hanako. It really hurts that she wasn't the one to make him happy, yet it was the girl who win in just a mere day. She really is pretty, Yashiro thought. I guess I understand why Hanako would choose her, another thought came in her. She really is nice isn't she. Unlike me who is selfish. Yashiro became sad once that image of them brought back to her head again. Akira noticed her face got her worried that she asked her what's wrong. She told her "Oh no, Nothing is wrong Akira, I'm used to it." But Akira wasn't persuaded by it and stayed worried all day. At least she's glad that she got Yashiro's trust in her, but poor girl she doesn't know the pain that Yashiro held all the time inside her, that the reason why she's sad all day was because of her all along. "Sorry Akira, but to be honest, I can't accept it easily as I do all the time." Yashiro said to her in her mind as she continue doing her cleaning duty and head back to her seat. 

And when class began to start, her eyes were focused on Akira, filled with sadness, for she was afraid to break this girl's heart.
