Reunion

Chapter 10

It began to get dark, and Naruto began to pack all their stuff up. He dried Himawari and made her put something warm over her bathing suit. She just slid some shorts on, and secretly put her fathers jacket. Boruto dried his shorts and put his shirt back on, so did Kawaki and Naruto.

They had a great time. Sasuke did as well. He was dragged into the water by Naruto. The children began to splash water at him, and he began to splash back. He and his daughter had actual fun together.

As Naruto and his kids walked back to their car, the Uchihas caught up to him.

"Hey Uzumaki, me and my daughter had a nice time today. Maybe we could do it again..."

Naruto stuffed some things in his trunk before saying, "Sure! I know the kids has a great time. Maybe I could invite more friends."

"Sure, I'll see you tomorrow." Both of the Uchihas waved Naruto goodbye, as they walked back to their car.

Naruto hopped into his car, and turned some music on. Kawaki sat in the passenger seat, sleeping. Boruto and Himwari sat in the back sleeping as well, with Himawari's head leaning against Boruto's shoulder.

Naruto turned to see his kids, and smiled at the sight. He chuckled a bit, then faced forward and began to drive. He drove out of the parking lot and began to make his way into the urban city.

Naruto quietly jammed to the music and hopped his head. He sang some parts softly, and other a bit loud.

When he was younger, he'd go on long car rides in the middle night, and blasted his music. It was just him and himself only. There wasn't anyone there to tell him to shut up, or that he was being too loud.

He tries to relive those moments, but sometimes, he thinks it's better to share them with his kids. He gives them memories with him, and he gets to relive them with people who love him.

Naruto singing:
🎵"We've come to far to give up who we are! So let's raise the bar, and our cups to the stars! She's up all night till the su-"🎵

"Daddy?" A little voice said from the back of the car. Naruto looked into the rearview mirror and saw that Himawari was awake.

"H-Hima! I'm sorry, did I wake you?"

"It's alright daddy! I'm not even tired!"

"Hm, the way you were sleeping says different."

"What! No way!"

"Sure," Naruto said as he focused his eyes, chuckling.

...

"Daddy?"

"Yes darling?"

"Why'd you stop singing? Before I woke up, you were singing. Why'd you stop?"

"I don't know, would you like me to sing?"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah!" Himawari said, as she jumped in her seat.

"Okay, calm down, what song?"

"The song that you were just singing!"

Naruto unpaused the song and began to sing again.

He began to sing with Himawari jumping in on some lyrics. They both danced a bit in their seats. They both laughed loudly, but tried to keep it quiet.

They sang the whole car ride, song after song. They had a great time together, as always.

Sooner or later, they had arrived to their house. Himawari woke Boruto up, and Naruto slowly woke up Kawaki.

Kawaki was scary to wake up, but Naruto can handle him.

Boruto groaned, he was to tired to get up. Kawaki pinched him to wake him up, and Boruto got out of the car. Kawaki closed the door behind him, following Boruto back to the house. Naruto carried Himawari to the couch, and they all plopped onto it. Naruto sat in the middle with Hima in his arms, Boruto on his right and Kawaki on his left.

They ended their day sleeping......on their couch. All together, with nothing to lose
