Reunion

Chapter 19

"We have some news..."
Naruto said, facing his children who sat a couch in the office of his partner.

"We don't know who you'll feel about it though.."
Sasuke added.

"So wanted to know...or inform you...that we're all going to move in together! We'll finally have a shared home! We won't move cities, we'll move houses. You'll still go to the same school! And we got a pretty mid sized house. It'll fit all of you and your preferred rooms."

The kids stared blankly at the couple.
Until one spoke up.

"As long as I don't leave my friends I'm fine with it!"
The blonde haired boy said, Boruto.

Naruto and Sasuke looked at each other and smiled. Sasuke gripped Naruto's hand, reassuring him that everything was fine.

"Well? Are you all fine with it?"

"Papa, daddy? Will I get my own room?"
The littlest one asked, Himawari.

Sasuke's eyes widened. He completely forgot about what Naruto told him.
He bent down to Himawari's height and asked, "Did you just call me papa?"

Himawari slowly nodded, worried about what would happen next.

Sasuke flashed a smile and quickly grabbed Himawari. He slipped his hands under her armpits and swung her in the air.

"I'M YOUR PAPA! YOU JUST CALLED ME PAPA!"
Sasuke screamed, worrying his employees.

Himawari laughed and giggled, "YEAH YEAH! YOU'RE MY OTHER PAPA!"
She swung her airs in the air.

Sasuke hugged her tightly, her feet dangling from the ground. She hugged back. He felt as is he was in the verge of tears.
Hw continued to carry her as they talked to the kids.

"I'm fine with it Naruto. Whatever makes you happy." Kawaki assured.

"Yeah it's cool! As long as I get to be with Naruto! He seems cool.."
Sarada spoke.

Naruto smiled at her softly. He was grateful that she wanted to be with him.

"Alright it's settled! We've been looking at houses! I'll call the school at some point and tell them we're tryna move places and that you guys won't be going for a bit. It's almost summer time too! Bigger backyard to play around in!"

Boruto's eyes lit up.
"HELL YEAH! I mean...heck yeah?"

Naruto chuckled, "Don't say that again or I'll beat your ass." He continued laughing.

"Uhh...yes dad."

"Put the stuff marked 'Kitchen' in the kitchen! It's not rocket science!"
Naruto hollered from the lower part of the house.

It was 2 stories with a beautiful kitchen and a warm living room. The second floor consisted of the rooms and bathrooms. There wasn't anything special to it, but it fit all the family's necessities.

"Grouchy are ya?"
Sasuke wrapped his arm around Naruto's waist from the side, placing a kiss on his lovers forehead.

"Hm, maybe...it's the morning after all. My head is pounding."
Naruto rested his head on Sasuke's shoulder.

"Sorry love, how 'bout you take a rest? We'll finish setting everything up."

"It's alright honey, I can manage. After all, when have you ever seen me give up?"

"Hm, I guess I haven't. Ever since I've met you, you haven't gave up once."

They shared and laugh and continued to put stuff in their new home.

Naruto plopped down onto their couch. It was the new one that they recently bought. It was longer than the one Naruto had.

Sasuke sat beside his partner and wrapped his arm around the other's shoulders.
Naruto gently placed his head onto Sasuke's shoulder

"Hey Naruto? If I confessed to you in high school or earlier, would you have gone out with me?"

"I'm not sure...at that time I thought of you as someone I resented. Now it's different. Everyday I wake up, I can't help but think of seeing you. I'm always so excited to go to work and have you come into my office."

"You are? I'm always happy to see you too!"

"Haha, I know! I'm glad that I'm here with you. I know it started as a weird thing. First the weird kisses and hugs and then lying to Hinata that we were dating. I'm glad though."

"I am too. I sincerely have loved you since..well..FOREVER!"

Naruto laughed and Sasuke softly smiled at him.

"Hey papa! Wanna watch a movie?"
Himawari appeared in front of them.

"Yeah! I can make popcorn! And get drinks ready!" Boruto yelled from behind the couch.

"That is a great idea! Go get Kawaki and Sarada!" Naruto said.

Boruto and Himawari nodded and jolted up the stairs.

Naruto rested his head on Sasuke's shoulder as Sasuke's still had his arm around Naruto.
Sarada sat next to her father with his head leaning on top of hers. Himawari's head laid on Naruto's lap as her legs rested on Boruto's lap. Boruto's head rested in his dad's shoulder, his hand stuffed in a bowl of popcorn. Kawaki snored away with his head on the arm rest at the end of the couch. His feet laid on Boruto's lap.

They all had a long day of unpacking and needed some time to rest. The new family bonded and all loved each other. Kawaki still hasn't warmed up to Sasuke's, but he knows that the Uchiha loves his dad. As long as Sasuke treats his dad right, he's fine with him.

The family watched movies, laughing and screaming through it all.
They all drifted asleep. All snuggled up together with blankets that covered them. The couch reclined which made it ever more comfortable.
