Reunion

Chapter 29

Naruto stood in front of his mirror. He stared at himself as he wondered, is this really happening?

He sighed as his friend Shikamaru walked in with his other friend, Kiba. "Hey man, you ready?"

"Yeah, yeah...I just...I can't believe what's about to happen."

It has been about 4 years since he got divorced from Hinata. After that, he never thought he'd fall in love again. But here he was, wearing a white tux, getting ready to get remarried.

"Hey, congratulations. You came a long way. We're really happy for you man." Shikamaru commented.

"Yeah! And we're glad you made us part of the groomsmen. I should've been the best man!" Kiba argued as he mad a nasty look at Shikamaru.

"Tsk, shut up. I got the position because I'm better." He said as he walked over to Naruto.
"But ignore him. We really are proud of you man. Especially Ino and Rock Lee. They've been crying for hours..."

All three men as laughed as they looked at themselves in the mirror. "Man, I've never looked better." Kiba said as he posed the mirror. Naruto chuckled.

"Hey, do you guys think that out younger selves would be proud to see us right now?" Naruto asked his friends.

"What? Of course they'd be proud! You're getting married and we're part of the wedding. Which means, one, that you've met the love of your life, and two, we're still friends!" Kiba said as he wrapped his arm around Naruto's shoulder.

"Yeah, well, let's get going. Everyone is waiting." Shikamaru commented as he walked out of Naruto's dressing room. Kiba followed behind, not before waving Naruto to follow them.

He stood next to His dad and his mom. They would be walking him down the isle. Their arms wrapped around each others.

"Are you ready?" Kushina questioned.

"Ready as I'll ever be!" Naruto nervously chuckled.

They smiled before beginning to walk down the isle. Naruto sighed as he anxiously smiled. He looked around at all the seats. Some of his friends crying, others proud. Kushina began almost her own eyes.

The lights above his head glistened on his suit. Sasuke stood close to the marriage officiant, waiting for Naruto to arrive. The older man stared in awe as his lover approached him.

Naruto was left with the marriage officiant and Sasuke. The two men stood a couple inches from eachother. Their eyes never left one another as the marriage officiant read some random things out. Then it came for the vows.

Naruto went first.

Both his and Sasuke's hands intertwined as they stared at each other. "Uhm, never in my life had I very imagined that I'd be here, getting married to you. Before meeting you, I knew something was missing. But once we began to get along, you began filling that hole. My life has been a dream with you. I guess you could say you're my dream man. We may not have best friends, but we're lovers now, and that's all that matters."

Once Naruto quit, Sasuke began.

"I may tell you this everyday, but I'll say it once more, you are the love of my life. You're the one I hope to spend the rest of my life with. Here, today, I look you in the eyes and I'll tell you how much I love you. I'll do it everyday. To wake up beside you each morning is a dream. When you came into my life, you did what no one else could do, aside from our kids, but you flip my spirts. You convinced me that there was something to live for. You are the reason I wake up in the mornings. You may be one of the most dumbest people I've ever met, but I'll always love it. Your corny jokes or annoying remarks, I will always and forever love you."

"And now, the rings." The marriage officiant said.

They men nodded. Sasuke took Naruto's hand into his left palm and gently slipped his a ring on his ring finger. Naruto smiled as he continued to put the ring on Sasuke's finger.

Sasuke coughed for attention. "I, Sasuke Uchiha, take you, Naruto Uzumaki, to be my husband. I have and to hold from this day forward."

"I, Naruto Uzumaki, take you, Sasuke Uchiha, to be my husband. Through sickness and through health. From here on out."

"I now pronounce you, married."

Naruto jumped onto Sasuke, kissing him. Instantly. Sasuke kissed back. The crowd clapped and yelled. They were married.

The couple broke the kiss as their family and friends still cheered. They pressed their foreheads against each other's.

"I love you, my amazing Husband." Sasuke stared at Naruto, waiting for a response.

"God, I love you too, my gracious husband" Naruto kissed him on the check.

Naruto turned to the crowd as he threw his flowers up in the air, the whole crowd running after it.

Naruto turned to smile at Sasuke. "We did it."

"We did it." Sasuke confirmed.
