Part 2 The caravan

 note this is my first fanfic any criticism or ways for me to improve my writing is welcome thanks

Also, I will try to update this as much as possible.

Well says Jay realizing the situation he's in I better start walking he gets up dusted himself off and start heading in the direction the map told him. A few hours later Man this is boring Jay says out loud to no one in particular. Just then he hears gunfire you know what I'm going to check that out he to himself and starts running in that direction of gunfire as he gets there he notices that it appears to be a bunch of raiders targeting a caravan that he recognized out of the game. He sees three raiders one with a shotgun one a hunting rifle with a scope b and the other with a lever-action gun What to do he says in his head should I just go in guns and blazing? thinking about it he says no that won't work I got to get in close to ambush them but I got to make this quick. Jay crouches down grab the pistol make sure it's loaded and moves forward making sure the raiders can't see him when he gets close enough to the first guy that he sees with a shotgun Jay Wait till he's reloading to start his attack bang bang 2 9x19 Luger round hit the raider with the shotgun Jay quickly aims another raider the one with the lever gun three more rounds from the Glock spit out. All in the head and he's dead on the spot two down one to go he says in his head quickly moving the Glock to face the last raider without any hesitation Jay puts five rounds in the man's chest. He's dead before he hits the desert sand. "Y'all okay," he asked The people in the caravan. We're all good thanks to you without you we would have been goners thanks. One of the caravan guards said hey who are you another one asked that's a fancy-looking gun you got there's.

Back I must be the leader of the caravan Jay thinks I was nothing he says out loud this year is a Glock I found it in a bag so now I have it it's a weird name. Well it's a nice one

Anyway, I'm the leader of this convoy Darren Brown. Hey I got a deal I can work for both of us I need another caravan guard to act as head of security and it looks like you could use a job yeah I've just been wandering looking for some caps doing some odd jobs here and there. So where y'all headed to a place called New Mexico more specifically the near the old state border perfect Jay says in his head that will give me real close to Texas and I'm getting paid to do it. All right I accept Jay says perfect your job starts now what's good this caravan back on the road we got time to make up.... A few days later Jay's sitting around a fire propped up against a Brahmin talk him with another one of the caravan guards named Daryl Fox so then I told him no that' sunset sarsaparilla not Nuka cola jay laughs Man That's funny. Anyway, I'm going to go to bed see you later Jay Daryl. Has Daryl leaves Jay looks through his back one more time I can't believe it's only been a few days and I still can't get over the fact that I'm in fallout. Kind of crazy to I've already made friends and I'm getting paid he says in his head. Reaching into his back to find a Nuka cola he accidentally grabbed the journal what's this he says I don't remember seeing this earlier. I wonder what's inside this notebook. As he opens it The first page already has something right on it hello Jay Kenneth. You being in this world was no accident I told you out of thousands of people help change the wasteland. Not creepy at all Jay thanks

Anyway I'm going to make the short and sweet in this book you will get instructions daily on how to rebuild the United States of America mainly once a time You're going to start in Texas to restore the Texas Republic so stay with this caravan until you get to New Mexico then you're going to be on your own than when you get to Texas do anything in your power to make it reunified second you can request certain items by writing on any piece of paper that it doesn't have writing on which you need to do. You can request something as small as a Lego brick or as big as a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier. Whatever object you request is will be delivered to you very quickly unless you want to ship, you will have to go to a beach to appear. You can only do this once per day but you can get as many items as you like but that will take longer for it to refill to be used again. Safe travels and watch out for Cazadores w. w who's this w person Jay thinks. I guess that's another mystery for me to solve. Anyway, that's pretty cool. I definitely could use some more ammo for my Glock, so I will request some ammo. So I guess I just write down what I want and then I get it Cool. He says to no one in particular. He writes down two boxes of federal ammunition 9mm luger 115-grain fmj rn and then right on his lap a few seconds later are the items that you requested sweet say out loud this is going to be handy in the future. Jay also notices that there is a little timer I'm on the corners of the journal showing that he has 15 minutes till he can get more stuff. Guess that is The cooldown w was talking about. Anyway, I better start loading this into my magazines I only have a few. I'll wait a few more minutes till the timer goes down to get some more magazines for my Glock answer memo for that lever-action gun I got off that raider. Then I'll go to bed.

After filling up his magazines and getting some more ammo for his lever-action gun Jay puts out the fire keeping him warm and goes to bed
