It got too late and ella started getting tired. She had been outside for a long time and hadn't really gotten any sleep since Monday. It was now Wednesday. She had thought the many hours of spending time at the riverbank would help but it didn't. She smiled before walking back to the small cottage that she owned. At least, she tried to walk back. But each step she took, she would hear a footstep behind her. She tried to quicken her walk but this time she felt her body being pushed. Her back hit a tree trunk causing her to feel large amounts of pain. She almost blacked out but was interrupted by a hand on her throat. "Now what is a gorgeous little maiden doing out here all alone? Don't you know it's dangerous to be alone in the dark?" A deep, teasing voice said, causing the girl to open her eyes. A blue eyed, brown haired guy stared back at her. A smirk, plastered on his face. But before she could say anything, a piece of metal slashed through the air and the creep's head was no longer attached to it's body. With no support, Ella's legs gave out and she fell to the ground. Above her, she could hear voices arguing with each other. "You idiot. You destroyed a vampire right in front of a human. What if she tattles to someone?" One voice said, to the others. You could tell he took his job seriously. "Danny, relax. She's out cold. She couldn't be able to pick us out of a line up" another voice said, arguing back.

Ella's pov:
They thought I was out but I had only kept my eyes closed to see what I could find out. The forest fell silent when I suddenly moved my hand. Suddenly someone was by my side. "Well what do we do? We can't just leave her here" someone said, before I felt like I was picked up. A long pause was taken before someone else answered. "We'll have to take her to our house. It's the safest place for her right now" the guy holding me said, before everyone walked to where their house was.
