Corrupted Civilization

Chapter 16

Human, a species believing a god created them. One of the strongest and smartest kind worldwide. They weren't as strong as elephants or as smart as an AI-machines, but they were the creation that would think of strategies and plans to defeat their enemies. God created such sensible and weak species, that even the humans lost their way to the reason of life. Thus it was clear why the theory of god's mistake appeared back in the age when the destruction of the world began...

"Urgh...w-where am I ?", Baelz's eyelids opened up, getting only a very bright, white neon light in front of her vision. The brightness was so clear, it burned chaos' eyes and she had to shut it immediately. She tried covering her eyes with her hands, until she actually felt her soft hands and not the gauntlets of her armor. This was the moment Baelz knew, she wasn't armored, her clothes weren't on either....she laid somewhere naked. Bae tried standing up, but got instantly put back into the laying position by someone else.

"Geez, hold still or I can't heal you", complained someone with a clear female voice, and so, Bae did as she was ordered to. The digital screens were floating around chaos' naked body, trying to heal the deep wounds she had on her back. Chaos didn't see the girl's look to recognize who she was, but she was hoping for safety.

"Hello Bae ? Bae are you there ?", the walkie-talkie echoed inside the clear white room, it was IRyS' voice. Her voice expressed worry and panic, something Baelz didn't hear often from her dear wife.

"Sorry, Bae can't talk right now, so please call another time", another female voice called out, pushing the microphone button. IRyS wasn't very happy about getting an unknown female voice as reply, her anger grew bit by bit.

"Where is she ? What did you do to her ? Answer me now", she yelled on the walkie-talkie, she was about to shout out for Sana to make a portal to her current location, but even Sana needed a break.

"Oi oi, calm down, she's fine, we're healing her right now", replied the other girl annoyingly. IRyS didn't trust them one bit, but as long as Bae would say something afterwards, it should be okay. However, it wasn't planned for the healing process taking that long, Baelz's wounds were indeed deep from something that ripped her back. Chaos was still conscious on the bed, naked for sure. Yet slowly, bit by bit, she felt better as the person was healing her.

After the whole process was a success, Baelz stood up and felt her body weaken, she wasn't in her best state yet. Back to the bed, sitting, she looked at her savior, a familiar pink-haired girl in a lab coat. Indeed, she recognized her face and her face turned into surprised one...

"I'm here, I arrived you guys finally...", said Bae softly, chaos was at her desgination, more like at the lab room of the destination. Soon, the door opened, revealing two more girls into the lab room.

"Hi, is she awake ?", asked a taller woman curiously, wondering if it was a good idea to bring chaos to such a place. The smaller one next to her didn't say much and waved her hand to the people inside the room.

"Seems like my work isn't needed anymore, you got the executive officer here with you, so I go back and stay with my dark", informed the girl, who stayed the whole time with the pink-haired one. The blonde left the room, leaving the three girls with Bae alone in one room.

"Okay, you are awake and alive, I healed your wounds and you can go now, but before that...what were you doing there before ? All alone on the railways ?", the pink-haired coyote made the digital screens go away and her purple eyes met Bae's.
