"Sorry that you couldn't take a bath." Spoke Ford as he sat a hand on your shoulder.

"Me too... I couldn't even get the shirt off..." He laughed a bit before catching himself. He cleaned his throat and looked into your eyes.

"It's almost time for that banquet they were talking about. I'm excited to see what they have in-store for us." He spoke. You nodded along and followed as he started to walk down a dirt path.

"I wonder how different they are..." You asked, as You kept up to his speed, walking by his side.

You both made it into the town. It was small, their huts tiny enough that you could reach over and touch their roofs. On your tippy toes of course.

The area was decorated with festive plants, many of which your think are carnivorous. It was covered with vines, and flowers. A small tables were set, filled with food, you couldn't help but smile. The Chief raised his hand and ushered you to him.

"Highlanders. Please. Sit." He waves his charcoal hand over a table with child like seats. You sit down fine, but Ford struggles, opting to just sit on the floor.

"We welcome you into our village, please indulge yourself. Don't hesitate to-"

A loud roar echoed through the cavern, making your shudder. Some of the sprites gasped and looked around. You and Ford stood up, looking to the direction of the sound.

You looked up to see a large hole, presumably the one you fell out of. Many tall like trees fell through, all roaring for the cause. You gasped and looked up at Ford who hardened his stance.

"Get your people out of here, Chief! They're here for us." He called. The Dust Sprite nodded, commanding his people to run and hide. You turned around, trying to get away, but the bonds held you tighter together.

"What are you doing Y/N? We have to stop them!"

"Stop them?! Are you crazy?! We'll die!"

"We can't let them hurt these people!"

"What are you going to do?! You don't have a weapon, your leg is hurt, and we are bound together!" You raised your wrist. He shook his head.

"We can't just leave them. We have to do something." He started to pull you along.

"No! Ford! Stop! Please- PLEASE! Ford! I'm scared!" You huffed as he stopped pulling you along. He turned to you as you continued to breathe.

"I'm scared..." You say again, your voice cracking with fear. He nods, looking back at the creatures, then back at you.

"We'll leave. Come on!" He grabbed your hand, pulling you along with him. You both start to run, heading deep into the woods of the undergrowth.

You had been running for a while, you don't know how long. Ford didn't even look tired, but you on the other hand were a heaping mess.

"We have to keep moving." He said, slowing to a walk instead of a run. He pulled up beside you, making sure you were okay.

"I know- we can't stop, but I can't go on... It's getting dark too, the crystals are starting to turn down. I'm sorry..."

"Don't apologize. It gets pitch black when the lights go off. We have to find a place to sleep tonight. Tree Giants can't see in the dark either, if I were to guess, they are taking up residents at the Dust Sprite town."  The sound of water filler your ears.

"Hush, Ford. Do you hear that?" You shut him up, cupping your hands to your ears. He did the same.

"Yes... Is that-"

"Water!!! Ford!! Come on!" You pulled him along like he had before, this time with less urgency. He laughed and followed behind you, looking at your hair.

You came along to a river, as blue as the sky. It was clear, the fish inside flowing around. You smiled at the sight, looking over to Ford who you caught staring. He turned away in a blush.

"Hey! Look over there!" He pointed to a hole in the wall, it was small, but big enough for a few people. You followed Ford as he walked to the cave. He went in first, looking around inside.

"It seems safe. Come on, Y/N." He pulled you along into the cave. It was nice and cozy.

"It's great, at least for tonight." You spoke, as you looked around more.

"We have to start a fire. I don't know how cold it gets at night, we wouldn't like to be 'caught with out pants down'." You looked at Ford and started to laugh.

"I can't believe you said that! I didn't know you were a 'pants down' kinda guy!" He smirked as you continued to laugh. He set his arm right by your head, as he placed his hand on the wall behind you. He came close to your ears and spoke.

"There's alot you don't know about me Y/N, so don't start making assumptions." You face turned red as he did so. After his words, he pulled away. The hand cuffs dragged you by the wrist out of the cave.

You spent the whole day, looking for fire wood, hunting, catching fish. Even though you could only come back with a small bounty, you and Ford were satisfied. He taught you many things about survival.

You sat by next to Ford, arm jiggling as he tried to light the fire.

"Hey Ford?"

"Yes?"

"What happened to your hand gun thing? Couldn't you use that to start to fire?"

"I would, but it might blow the pile up. Also, I used it to slow our fall when we fell down here. It broke."

You nodded and looked back at the fire. Smoke flew to the roof of the cave as the fire started to burn bright. You could see Ford in the corner of your eyes smile. He finally did it.

"Let's make dinner, shall we?"
