The next morning
Kaeya's POV

There was light hitting my eyes, my head felt like someone hit me multiple times, and the light didn't make it any better, i got up and looked around
Kaeya: this isn't my room, it's huge
I found my clothes folded on the bedside table, i looked down seeing my shirt all untucked and unbuttoned.
For some reason my eye patch was still on but my hair was loose
I put on my shoes and went to the bathroom, looking in the mirror i saw my hair was s mess, i grabbed my hair tie and moved my hair back
And with that settle movement i saw a hickey planted on right in between my neck and collar bone
Kaeya: Y/n?
I looked away and felt my face getting hotter and hotter
Kaeya: did we do it?
I fixed my shirt and put on my belt that had my vision
I went outside the room and saw that i was on the second floor and right now i was in the corridor, i looked down from the railing, and saw Y/n sleeping peacefully on the couch
Kaeya: what kind gentleman am i, leaving My Lady sleep on the couch, Pathetic
I went downstairs and i bent down to her height i looked at her peaceful figure.
I tried to remember what happened last night, i only remember some parts but nothing else came to mind
Y/n: kaeya?
Kaeya: Yes, My Lady
She got up and looked at me, clearly flustered
Y/n: how did you sleep
Kaeya: Yes, i slept wonderfully
I couldn't help but to plant a kiss on her forehead
Y/n: Oh your hangover. I made some soup last night, it's in the kitchen
She got up so suddenly and went to the kitchen
I followed her and entered the kitchen
The kitchen wasn't as big as i thought but it was nicely furnished
Y/n: please sit down, I'll heat up the soup
Kaeya: Thank you
I sat down at one of the chairs and i waited
Her figure was beautiful, seeing her hair fall down from her ear and putting it back behind with her hand
I got lucky, having a girl like her by my side
Once she was done she grabbed a bowl and poured the soup in, walking up to me and placing the bowl of soon front of me
She grabbed her serving and we were both eating together
Kaeya: is this your house?
Y/n: Yes.
Kaeya: I'm sorry you had to sleep on the couch
Y/n: No worries, i don't mind
It was quiet, she had something on her mind, i could just tell
Y/n: do you, remember anything
Kaeya: only the beginning, i just remember drinking with that guy Stanley, and making fun of Diluc, did i do anything wrong?
Y/n: um no, you didn't do anything
Silence fell once again
Kaeya: Did we do it? Last night
I looked away while scratching the back of my neck, while Y/n coughed completely off guard
Y/n: ahem, No
There was a slight pain in my chest but at the same time i felt relieved
Y/n: You fell asleep before I did anything
She continued eating avoiding eye contact

Y/n's POV

Y/n: Diluc? You and Kaeya seem really distant, did something happen when i was gone
Diluc: everything happened
We were inside his house, we grew closer as time passed,
Y/n: Care to tell
Diluc: Khaenria
I froze
Diluc: after my father died, Kaeya told me the truth, he was a spy from Khaenria.
Y/n: I'm sorry i didn't tell you earlier
Diluc: It's fine, Kaeya wouldn't have gotten his vision, we got into a fight the day he told me the truth.
Y/n: A fight always helps with stress, and anger
Diluc: you don't understand, i almost killed him
He covered his face with his hands, i could see tears falling from his eyes
Diluc: I almost killed my brother
I hugged him, he was shaking
Diluc: i wish i could say sorry, but i can't bring myself to
Y/n: don't worry, you'll be able to one day, and he'll accept it, because he still cares
Diluc: Thank you
Y/n: don't worry, I'm here if you need anything.
That was the moment i knew Diluc was a close friend i can rely on
In just a blink of an eye, a week before my leave came along
Kaeya offered to stay with me during the whole day, we did my daily commissions together, it went faster than usual
With two people around Commissions go by fast
Y/n: are you going to let go
Kaeya: No
He has been told my hand the while time, when fighting that's when he would let go but other times he would hold my hand
Y/n: i need Sandbearer wood, i need both of my hands
Kaeya: you can get it later, come on one more commission, it's not like we're frozen in time
Y/n: fine
He pulled me next to him and begined to walk
The day went fast
It was dark and Kaeya ran somewhere, who knows where
I went to Angles Share to share a couple of drinks with Diluc and Venti, if he was there
Once i got there i saw Diluc behind the counter
Y/n: Still open?
Diluc: Sadly, yes
Diluc: Last day?
Y/n: No, I'll be leaving in a week.
Diluc: Time runs fast
Y/n: it does, doesn't it, have you seen kaeya?
Diluc: he's upstairs in the balcony
Y/n: thanks
I sat up and
Walked up the stairs
Once i opened the door, i regreted it, I saw kaeya, but not the way i wanted to see him
I turned around and closed the door
I practically ran downstairs
I looked at Diluc and gave him a small smile before running out the of the bar
I could hear Kaeya yelling from the inside, but soon fated once i was far enough
