A vast landscape surrounded by the abundance of fresh water and magical particles there were scattered throughout the world. There were many kinds of species living within the whole landscape and are divided into different regions that suited their needs from the seasonal environments. Mindlessly claiming every piece of land the world had to offer to them. Out of the all species that dwelled within the lands of the Novis, only four main species were dominant and claimed large portions of the lands. It was named by each of the leaders and divided into the nine continents that made the world as it is now. That was indeed the home we now know as Novis.

It was a peaceful world that supported all kinds of life, including the mythological creatures that would roam the land freely. In a way, it brought the fantasy to life since anything within this world seemed like a dream to a person. As the technology of Novis relied heavily on magic itself, every species thrived in their homelands. That is what the world of Novis was originally about. Except... When it comes to resources, everyone always wants more as greed manifests in every living being.

Eventually, one of the faction leaders declared war on one after another; setting off the sparks that would later transform into first magical warfare. Other leaders took advantage of this and made preparations in hoping to achieve the common objective they all shared. World domination. The first battle started in the central continent where the five factions would collide against each other, gradually spreading all across Novis that would become engulfed in the magic wars. Various magic types were used against one another, spreading the devastation that rendered parts of the land uninhabitable due to the high concentration of mana left in the battlefields.

It pushed the involved species to the test as they struggled to survive amid the relentless wars, gradually becoming extinct and decreasing numbers of the population as it raged on. The first magical warfare carried on for years until it reached that point whereas one of the four main races, Thouwai Michani became extinct and left the other remaining species to fight on the behalf of their left-behind lands.

By that point, the costs of lives outweighed the gains and the leader of the Asquith Faction had come to realize that. He surrendered in response to the great Thouwai Michani race becoming extinct despite having control over half the countries and vast lands of Novis, forcing others to pull off the same move after every single Faction leader realized the results they all brought upon themselves. For the first time in history, the war had been brought to an end by surrender and it was done so by the most dominant faction as the estimated losses were 2.1B lives and few species eternally extinct.

To prevent any more of this happening again, the world came together to form the World Government which would become known as the Asquith Kingdom; waving the flags of all the nations across Novis. It was established in the central continent called Valhalla. Drastic measures were taken to preserve all remaining life, gathering resources and people from all over the world.

One of the four main races, Elves contributed to the Asquith Kingdom by sending over their strongest soldiers to be part of the Asquith Kingdom which inspired the other races to do the same. While the Fairies closed off their borders to their realm and established friendly relations with the Humans and Elves, promising to lend help when the need arises in face of danger. The vacant spot of the four main races was eventually taken by the demi-humans due to their increasing population and coverage of land settlement.

There was also an elite unit consisting of twelve mages created at the same time the Asquith Kingdom was made. It came to be known as the Sacred Guardians, each chosen mage was carefully handpicked by the Magic Council of Valhalla, and the leader of the Sacred Guardian himself. They were watched thoroughly in their combat skills, magic talents, and their judgments in various situations. Once accepted into the elite unit, each of the chosen mages was deployed into the 9 continents either by groups of one or two Guardians per continent. All was done to maintain balance and peace all over Nation just as the First Guardian stated at the beginning of the Asquith Kingdom's creation. That was how it came to be today.
