How long has it been? The contact with the living. Socializing. It was all foreign to the Lost Guardian who manipulated the fallen to do his bidding, all to survive up until today. For what reason? The answer wasn't clear, and yet he found himself clinging to 'life' desperately despite having no purpose in living.
He tried to stop the Augmented Being once, and that ended up a colossal failure for him, costing him his two knights and his comrades; since then, he has gone rogue and dwelled in the Capital Ruins in complete solitude.
His emerald hues took a turn towards the two honour knights who were standing behind him, curious as he was; he was still expressionless. Talking.... It was a pain.
"...What are you doing here?" His voice firm and still.
It was evident that depending on the answer, Kamau would unleash the controlled 'puppets' on the trio group. His hand tied by the spirit threads from his palm, connecting to all the Thouwai Michani puppets within his reach. The spirit orbs encircled the courtyard, floating aimlessly.
The 12th Guardian retained his calmness, carefully removing the letter stamped by the First Guardian's signature and handed it over to him. Though it was that the spirit orb retrieved it in the Lost Guardian's place.
Quietly, the Lost Guardian opened it with the thread from his palm hovering it in front of him. The information written on it... the recent news with the world, and what happened since his time as a Guardian ended. It was all written there, including the recent loss of the 10th Guardian, Aulus Greenfield.
Finally, the last part of the letter was a formal request, asking for his assistance in a time of need. To which his apathetic eyes slowly lit up a bit. "I... see."
The lingering silence followed.
". . ."
Kamau merely dropped the letter onto the ground, averting their gazes. "A formal request from the First Guardian is a great honor. However, I refuse to stand in service seeing how you and the others failed to eliminate a single Nexus Instrument up to this point, Len."
"My orders are to return with you, Kamau." Len added, "If you're going to refuse then at least do so in his presence." He gestured for his two knights to back up a bit who remained completely silent, as saying anything will only worsen the situation.
"The 10th Seat is currently vacant, and we need more like someone of your caliber. Please take the request into consideration, Kamau."
A sigh escaped the male's lips, along with the other puppets standing in front of the Lost Guardian as to potentially shield him.
"There is nothing to consider. You and the rest couldn't take out a single Nexus Instrument up to this point. What makes you think you can win this war now...?"
"Because the world is depending on us." Len replied.
"..." The other turned slowly turned and began to walk away.
"You and the 3rd Instrument are from this country. Can you tell me what happened here...?" He asked out of curiosity. "Was Yurok behind the fall of this country?"
It stopped the Lost Guardian in place completely, hearing those words. For some reason it struck a nerve in him, pulling his index finger in and suddenly lunged those machinery puppets straight to the trio without hesitation. "I warned you..." He said as the machinery beings clashed against Len's blade that was drawn in a swift manner, forcing others to form a barrier on themselves.
"Noctus Kingdom deserved its fate. Neither can you or the others can convince me otherwise." Kamau said, commanding the other idle puppets to start attacking Len and his two knights all while he stood back and watched from the safety spot with two perfect puppets guarding him. Like he was the puppeteer of the ongoing show for the controlled Thouwai Michani corpses to see.
