Loki- The TVA

Chapter 2

"Y/n, meet Loki, Loki this is y/n".

I reach out my hand to shake his, but he just stares at me. I bring back my hand and place it at my side, not questioning it. Mobius gestures for me to sit down in the extra chair that he brought in, so I do. He sits Loki in the chair on the other side of his desk while he puts in a film tape into the projector.

"What do you want from me?" Loki finally says. Both mobius and I turn to look at him.

"Well, let's start with a little cooperation." Mobius says back, sitting down in his chair facing Loki.

"Not my forte."

"Really? Even when you're wooing someone powerful you intend to betray? Come on."

"You don't know anything about me."

"Maybe I'd like to learn...."

They go back and forth for a couple of minutes. I only half listen, catching things Loki says. How he talks about wanting to rule Earth, be king, then take over the Nine Realms. Wow, this man is crazy.

"The Time-Keepers have built quite the circus, and I see the clowns are playing their parts to perfection." Loki says. I raise my eyebrows, wanting to give him a sarcastic remark, but I just keep my mouth shut, not wanting to start any arguments, yet.

Mobius chuckles, "Big metaphor guy. I love it. Makes you sound super smart."

Loki stares at him, "I am smart."

"I know."

"Okay."

"Okay."

I chuckle at their little interaction, which causes them to both turn to me.

"Who is she again?" Loki says. I feel kind of offended, seeing as mobius told him my name when they came in.

"That's y/n, she's my assistant for the day. She was just like you, you know. A variant taken from their timeline. I recruited her to join the TVA, hoping to make her a great agent, and she is one. She is going to be helping me with the case I need you to help me with as well." Mobius says. I smile at his words. I never knew he saw me as a great agent. Loki nods his head and just stares at me, like he's trying to read me. He finally looks away when mobius turns on the projector.

"What is this?" Loki says.

Mobius chuckles again, "A sampling of your greatest hits, if I may."

The projector whirls and video clips of Loki's life are shown in front of us. I watch as images of him trying to take over New York flash, and the Avengers are shown fighting him. I smile a little, remembering them and what they were like. Mobius and Loki are going back and forth again, bickering, when suddenly a video of Loki on a plane is shown. I gasp as the video plays through and stand up shocked

"YOU WERE D.B. COOPER??" I say to Loki completely shocked.

He rolls his eyes at me. "I was young, and I lost a bet to Thor."

Mobius laughs and Loki rolls his eyes again. I sit back down, still in complete shock as we watch the rest of the videos. Then, a video of Loki's mother shows up, and I can see him get tense.

"What is this? This is nonsense, more tricks. This never even happened." Loki says

"Not to you. Not yet." Responds mobius.

We watch as the scene plays out, mobius says something about Loki telling the Dark Elves to go left, thinking they would find Thor, but instead, he sends them to...

"I'll never tell."
