Glossary:
1. Add oil/ Gayau （加油）— used to express encouragement, incitement, or support.
2. Chi Sin (痴線) — crazy/ insane [ < this is a rude expression]
3. Laugh die me /Siu4 me（笑死我） — nearly died laughing
4. Blow water（吹水）— Chit chat 💬
6. Meh Liu (ah) (咩料呀) — what is going on [<this is a rude expression]
7. See Dan (la)(是但啦) / Mo sor waai (la) (冇所謂啦) — I don't mind
How to make yourself sound like local HK ppl
1. When you ask a question, end with an "ar" / "ah"
Examples:
- Where are you going ar?
- What's the time now ar?
- Really ar?
- What do you mean ar?
2. Add "la"/ "lar" at the end of the sentence when answering a question
Examples
- Ok la
- That's fine with me la
- I prefer chicken more than pork la
- No la
