2nd Person POV:
Evelyn, Maddison and Alissa are swimming together happily as you sit on the dock, feet in the water, reading. You flip through the pages, trying to drown out the sick feeling in your stomach. You hear laughter from the girls, which makes you feel a little better. They're having fun, so maybe I should loosen up a little.

You giggle and grab your camera, turning it on. You take a few pictures of the girls playing in the water happily, the birds chirping in the trees, the soft, blue sky and the small critters racing around. You breath in, taking in the sweet, fresh air. You felt like a wave of relief wash through you. You lay down on the dock, feet still in the water. You close your eyes, and let yourself fully unwind. That is, until you hear pairs of footsteps walking down the dock.

"Hey cutie," someone says, making you open your eyes. It's the guy from before.

You sit up slowly, turning your body to face the guy. You tilt your head and ask, "Do you need something?..". That dumb smirk is plastered on the guy's face. He laughs and says, "My name's Jayden, if you were wondering."

"Oh. Okay.." you mumble. You turn around again and open your book out of impulse. You flip through the pages, although you aren't really reading. You just want the guy to go away. You suddenly feel an arm around your shoulder, making you tense up from the touch. "Woah, no need to get scared with me," Jayden tells you, laughing. His other friends (which are two boys and one girl) laugh with him.

More footsteps walk, except these footsteps are more aggressive.

"Where's Cassie?" A familiar voice asks in an upset, snobby tone. You turn your head and see Sarah, appearing very angry. Laura stands beside Sarah, arms crossed.

".....um.." you start, looking down. Jayden unwraps his arm from your shoulder, making your shoulders relax.

"Where. Is. She." Sarah says again, except more sternly. You gulp and stand up, facing her.

"I'm sorry.. but..." you bite the bullet and decide to finish your sentence. "Cassie's dead. Me and the others found her this morning...." Sarah shows no reaction at first, but then she fumes. The other girls get out of the water to see what's about to unfold.

"You bitch! You killed her, didn't you!" Laura swears, causing a couple gasps around the dock. You shake your head vigorously. "I didn't do it." You feel a hand strike your face. Ouch! "I-i didn't kill her!" You yell, voice shaking. Tears prick your eyes. I didn't kill her. She can assume something as crazy as that. It's absurd.

"Liar! You LIAR! SHE WAS MY FRIEND!" Sarah screams at you, making you slowly step backwards. "Sarah, stop. Don't do anything rash," Laura tells the girl, cutting in. Sarah pushes her away angrily, still looking at you.

"Look first– ah!" Sarah grips onto your hair, making you yelp. You hold out your camera to her, hand shaking. She snatches it from you, letting go of your hair. She scrolls through the photos of your camera.

"S-see? I was with the girls the whole time," you tell Sarah, voice cracking. Her heart drops when she sees the photos. Laura gasps and covers her mouth and sobs. I feel so bad. She must've been Cassie's friend too. Whoever killed her, is probably that man. Haven't they realized that yet?

"T-the man. He must've done it," You explain to Sarah, and she looks up at you. "The camp leaders told us he's dead. It's probably just a kid trying to scare people, they said," Laura tells you, frowning. Huh. That doesn't make sense at all! He had a machete!! How would a kid here acquire a machete?!

"So you did it," Laura whispers. "Wha– no, I did–" but it's too late. Sarah pushes you with all her might into the dark, empty lake. The last sight sight you see is Sarah, Laura and the others staring down at you before you fall into the murky water. I can't swim.
