"I was wondering..." Jay suddenly said surprising Ni-Ki. "What hyung?" Ni-Ki asked a bit worried. "Well, I noticed that you and Sunghoon are off these days..." He shrugged as he glanced at Ni-Ki.

"What makes you think that hyung?" Ni-Ki nervously laughed. Now he'll think that I am crazy.

"Are you perhaps dating?"

Ni-Ki glanced surprised at his hyung. What? Me dating Sunghoon? How? I am not even gay- Wait I don't know that for sure.

He laughed. "Why do you think that?" Ni-Ki asked. Jay laughed at that and didn't reply.

A few days have already gone by and Ni-Ki still didn't dream about those dreams. If he thought about it which he did- he didn't dream about anything. He was thankful for that, but the thing was that Sunghoon had sleepless nights.

Ni-Ki was worried for him, who wouldn't be?

He knew that Sunghoon didn't want to worry anyone about it but Ni-Ki knew that Sunghoon couldn't sleep at all. But, how did Ni-Ki know he couldn't sleep at night?

It wasn't that noticeable since Sunghoon was handsome and recently Ni-Ki started thinking that way too, he did think of him as a handsome individul,  but now he knew it. He saw him a couple of times scrolling on his phone when he needed to drink some water so that he won't get thirsty or when he simply needed to go to the bathroom.

Maybe he is too afraid to sleep? He sighed as he waited for Heeseung and Jake who were practicing late.

                               ~
"Are you afraid to sleep outside hyung?" Ni-Ki chuckled as Sunghoon frowned at him. "Of course not."

They were still friends at the time. Oh, how Sunghoon wants to see Ni-Ki again but he can't. He is gone. He broke his heart just like that.

He couldn't sleep for almost a week and almost didn't eat anything.

He was hurt.

Of course that he was at his funeral though they couldn't find his body since he jumped off a cliff. Sunghoon was still there as his 'close friend', his 'best friend'. That's simply what people liked to call them. Even his family didn't say anything about their romantic relationship. He was helpless, he wanted to scream, shout, and tell everyone what they truly were but he couldn't. He wasn't brave enough.

He couldn't keep his tears from falling. He even went to that place where Ni-Ki took his life. It was hurtful since that was one of the places where they used to hang out.

He glanced down. "Why did you do it Riki?" He felt his eyes getting teary. "You were my happiness, my love, my comfort and now I have none of that..." He sobbed. "You were my love..."

🎭

"Why did you do it Ni-Ki?" Sunghoon glared at him. Ni-Ki gulped. "What did I do?" He glanced at Sunghoon completely confused. Sunghoon shrugged.

"Uh, nothing." He nervously chuckled. "Sorry for assuming that it was you." Ni-Ki pouted. "I might be a rebel sometimes but that doesn't mean that I would prank you." He crossed his arms kind of hurt.

"Cute." Sunghoon smiled softly at him but Ni-Ki didn't budge. He did want to smile back at him since he always loved it when he smiled but his pride was bigger, he wanted Sunghoon to apologize to him.

"I am sorry Ni-Ki." Sunghoon sighed and Ni-Ki couldn't help but smile back at him. "It's fine-" Ni-Ki was interrupted by Sunghoon. "I can't bear to see you angry even if you look cute." He chuckled and Ni-Ki felt his ears getting red, his cheeks as well. He was a blushing mess.

"It's fine hyung." He laughed as he glanced down. "Well, gotta go," Sunghoon said as he started walking towards the kitchen. "Jay I know that you put salt in my shoes!?" He shouted and Ni-Ki laughed at that.

"What are you talking about!?" Ni-Ki could hear Jay yell. He didn't know who did it but whoever it was that was rude, how can they do something so harmful.

Ni-Ki couldn't sleep well that night. He was dreaming of holding someone's hand and running on a field of flowers. How romantic. He rolled his eyes as started eating his cereals. Though his dream wasn't that pretty after a few minutes into it, he was falling from a cliff. It was high though Ni-Ki is not that afraid of heights, but he surely felt fear at that moment.

"You seem to have slept pretty well hyung." Ni-Ki smiled at Sunghoon. He hummed. "But, I see that you didn't." Sunghoon pointed at the black circles that Ni-Ki tried to hide but miserably failed. He sighed.

"Yeah, it was supposed to be a pretty dream but it turned into a nightmare pretty quickly if you ask me." He tried to laugh to make the situation lighter but he couldn't.

"If I'm being honest-" Sunghoon glanced down. "I couldn't sleep for a few days too." He sighed and soon after that he glanced at Ni-Ki. "I know hyung." He said.

Sunghoon was surprised by that. "I saw you a couple of times not sleeping and-" Ni-Ki stopped talking as he glanced at Sunghoon who was worried. He didn't know what to say at the moment but he sure did know how to comfort him.

He walked towards him, surprising Sunghoon and then he hugged him. He knew that Sunghoon needed it. He wasn't just an idol- he was his hyung and a friend too. He was a person. He felt Sunghoon hugging him back and they stayed like that for a bit.
